When the headmaster at a private school is found dead from gun shot, Bernard and Cosgrove investigate, they learn the man was not popular with some people. They eventually learn a student was there when he was shot. They question him and he reveals that he had an altercation with another student who brought a gun and threatened him with it but the headmaster tried to intervene and was shot. Price decides to prosecute him as an adult but when he talks to psychiatrist he reveals that his father told him to stand up for himself and even gave him the gun. Which makes Price consider prosecuting the father. Which he does but needs to convince the son to testify against the father.
