Actress Geraldine Brophy was intrigued by the idea of starting a film with no script!. She came on board because she wanted to explore the improvisational processes that we were working with and she was interested in a story, whatever it was to become, centred around older characters. All she knew at the start was the she and actress Carmel McGlone were to play sisters.
The Wellington community contributed many things to the production including props, vehicles such as trucks, gear and film equipment, and filming locations such as the trucking yard.
The movie filmed in about forty different locations in Wellington, New Zealand - thirty-eight in total to be exact.
