CNBC has decided to cancel The Kudlow Report at the end of this month, reports Deadline. Host Larry Kudlow has been with the cable channel for a quarter of a century and has been hosting The Kudlow Report for the past five years.
Kudlow is staying with CNBC and will be a senior contributor for other business programs on the channel. Now word as yet about what will fill the 7pm timeslot once Kudlow's show ends.

CNBC announced Friday that “The Kudlow Report” would end its five-year run some time this month, with host Larry Kudlow moving to a senior contributor role at the network. “Larry expressed his love of the network and personal pride in what had been accomplished on his program over the years but now wanted to slow down just a bit,” CNBC president Mark Hoffman wrote in a note to staff. Larry Kudlow‘s 7 Pm Et CNBC program, The Kudlow Report will end its run at the end of this month, with Kudlow staying on as a senior contributor to the business network’s business-day programs. No word yet as to a replacement program. Kudlow, who has been a part of CNBC for its 25-year history, had headlined The Kudlow Report since January of ’09, after hosting Kudlow & Company from ’05 to 0’8., and partnering with Jim Cramer in Kudlow & Cramer before that. “In my career, I have encountered few television hosts with Larry’s range,” CNBC president Mark Hoffman said in a memo to staff, a copy of which was obtained by TVNewser. “As an interviewer, he is unfailingly polite and energetic, skillfully grilling guests but always ending a segment graciously.
