Tom Starbor is a funeral home worker mourning the death of his grandfather. Compounding his emotional turmoil is dealing with his grandfather's estate being cannibalized by his greedy family and a cheating girlfriend who leaves him for his brother. While performing a routine processing of the body of a prostitute at Endinggrace Funeral Home, Tom's reality becomes skewed when he curiously touches the tattoos covering her arms and is taken to a timeless dimension where he converses with a mental projection of his deceased grandfather who attempts to explain the nature of the shifts, whilst fighting a menacing doppelganger seemingly created from his own mind. When Tom emerges from this dimension, his entire reality has been changed. What is the nature of these bizarre dimensional shifts and what does the seemingly omnipotent entity known only as "The Being" have do with his changing reality? A Wandering Mind In The God Machine explores the very nature of existence as we perceive it.
