  Hanna Marin : and I can't believe it took me this long to realize that.

  Dr. Anne Sullivan : How do you think Alison would respond to that?

  [Hanna looks at the empty chair, and scoffs] 

  Alison DiLaurentis : [Hanna's vision, turning around on the chair, smiling]  Well, look at you. All independent and in touch with your feelings. I'll bet you're pretty impressed with yourself right now, aren't you?

  Hanna Marin : Yeah.

  Alison DiLaurentis : I'm proud of you, Hanna.

  Hanna Marin : I don't care.

  Alison DiLaurentis : Of course you don't. Today. You've got a Dr. Do-Over there to pat you on the back for talking to an empty chair.

  Hanna Marin : I don't need her either.

  Alison DiLaurentis : Well, you need soneone. Low self-esteem leads to Hefty Hanna. Wasn't that covered in wellness class?

  Hanna Marin : I have other friends. Real friends.

  Alison DiLaurentis : [snaps]  You have what I gave you.

  Alison DiLaurentis : You think your three gal-pals will be with you forever, don't you? News flash! You're already losing them. They're gonna move on, Hanna... and you're not.

  [Hanna looks uncomfortable] 

  Alison DiLaurentis : And you know who you'll be left with? Me. I'll always be with you. I'm the only one who can make you happy... the only one that will tell you the truth. I'm the only one that you can count on.

  Hanna Marin : [sighs]  Then I'd rather be alone.

  Alison DiLaurentis : [smirks]  You won't last a week.

  Hanna Marin : At least I'll be alive. You can't reach into my life anymore.

  [Alison's face hardens] 

  Hanna Marin : Not unless I let you.

  [shakes her head] 

  Hanna Marin : You're gone... and I'm so over missing you.

  [shakes her head, and the wind is taken out of Alison's sails] 

• Caleb Rivers : [Hanna shakes her head as Lucas gives Danielle a wide berth in school cafeteria]  That date is gonna be a disaster.

  Hanna Marin : Well, you're his bro-mate. Help him out.

  Caleb Rivers : I tried. But he gets nauseous just talking about it. And I'm on the bottom bunk.

  Hanna Marin : He has bunk beds?

  Caleb Rivers : Oh, and toys. In little boxes.

  Hanna Marin : Okay, they're collectibles.

  Caleb Rivers : You know he wants us to go with him.

  Hanna Marin : I know. It's pretty lame, huh?

  Caleb Rivers : Should we?

  [then sees Lucas dashing off to locker room]

  Hanna Marin : The kid's gonna swallow his own tongue if we don't do something.

  Hanna Marin : I'm not going out with you. I'm... accompanying Lucas and Danielle, and... you happen to be doing the same thing. We'll be his wing men, or wing people, but that's it, you got it?

  Aria Montgomery : [they go into woods]  I've got 911 on speed-dial.

  Hanna Marin : [holds phone]  I've only got one bar.

  Hanna Marin : Crap! No bars.

  Emily Fields : We should take a photo of Ian, prove we haven't been making this all up.

  Hanna Marin : Yeah, you go ahead and do that while I try not to get killed.

  [others look back at her sharply] 

  Hanna Marin : Sorry.

  [shrugs] 

  Hanna Marin : I'm just worried about Melissa. Who knows what Ian's thinking?

  Aria Montgomery : Or if he has a gun?

  Aria Montgomery : He's the bad guy, right?

• Hanna Marin : [sighs]  I'll be home after school... seeing as I can't hang out with any of my friends.

  Ashley Marin : About that. I was talking to Spencer's mom yesterday.

  Hanna Marin : And you realized that this whole bestie ban was a terrible idea, and I can hang out with them?

  Ashley Marin : No... we realized that you're the only one that hasn't been to a solo session with your therapist yet.

  Hanna Marin : So?

  Ashley Marin : So... your father and I think you should.

  [Hanna looks none too thrilled, sighs] 

  Ashley Marin : Your friends have all taken it seriously. I think it would be a good idea if you did too.

  Hanna Marin : Can't we just watch Intervention and say that I went?

  Ashley Marin : Stop. You're going. After school today.

  Hanna Marin : Wow. My week's really shaping up.

  [goes off] 

• Hanna Marin : Hey...

  [as he toys with his fries] 

  Hanna Marin : Can I have some of those?

  Lucas Gottesman : Have them all. I may never eat again.

  Hanna Marin : Ugh.

  [rejects] 

  Hanna Marin : The rat fall in the fry oil again? Because last time...

  Lucas Gottesman : It's not the food. It's... Danielle.

  Hanna Marin : Yearbook Danielle? What's wrong?

  Lucas Gottesman : What's right? Ever since you helped me score a date with her, my stomach has been like... a rat fell in my fry oil. I'm completely off my game.
