The Price Is Right host Drew Carey became “Uncle Drew” and watched a contestant fall to the floor during a recent on-stage moment.
The popular game show often has some sweet prizes for contestants, including trips, cash, and cars.
Sometimes, those prizes can bring a lot of excitement, and contestants are overwhelmed with emotions.
Fortunately, the woman who fell on stage was completely fine, and Carey didn’t need to resuscitate her after her excited reaction.
Carey, 65, has seen plenty of surprising and exciting moments as the show’s host since 2007.
That included an impressive Showcase Showdown feat, where a contestant could take home a nice collection of prizes.
More recently, he experienced another unique interaction with a contestant and some excitement during her time on stage.

Lzzy Hale made her debut as the singer of Skid Row over the weekend during a pair of concerts on Friday and Saturday (May 17th and 18th) in Illinois and Iowa.
Hale is filling in on vocals after Skid Row’s previous frontman, Swedish singer Erik Grönwall, stepped away from the group due to health issues.

The band had four gigs on the books — now billed as the “Skid Row x Lzzy Hale” run — when Grönwall announced his exit. The first came on Friday (May 17th) at Walker’s Bluff in Carterville, Illinois, where the Hale-fronted glam metal icons performed a 16-song set.
They kicked things off with one of the heaviest Skid Row tracks in “Slave to the Grind” and proceeded to hit the obligatory hits, a cover (“Psycho Therapy” by the Ramones), and more heavy metal (“Monkey Business”). An encore of “Riot Act...

Gearbox Entertainment was acquired by the Swedish game company Embracer Group in 2021. Recently, rumors were that it was planning to sell Gearbox as part of the restructuring plan that has seen the company cut nearly 1400 jobs and shut down studios such as Saints Row developer Volition and Square Enix Montreal, just to name a few.
It was reported yesterday that the company is divesting Gearbox to 2K Games and GTA developer Rockstar Games’ parent company Take-Two Interactive. The companies have now confirmed this and revealed that Take-Two has acquired the company for $460 million and will own almost all the franchises from the renowned developer, as well as other new projects.

Will Smith is indeed the jack of all trades in the entertainment industry. A music artist, a TV icon, a visionary film producer, and an Oscar-winning actor, he has done it all. The Men in Black actor’s career started back in the mid-1980s when he became part of a hip-hop duo with DJ Jazzy Jeff. However, his popularity skyrocketed when he was featured in the popular ’90s sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The show opened Smith’s door to stardom as he went on to embrace a wide variety of roles and starred in critically acclaimed dramas like The Pursuit of Happyness, Six Degrees of Separation, Ali, and many more. However, Will Smith threw all his fame and stardom away when he slapped Chris Rock, the presenter of the Best Documentary feature at 94th Academy Awards back in 2022, eventually derailing his career.

Swedish singer Erik Grönwall has stepped away from Skid Row, primarily for health-related reasons. As a temporary replacement, Halestorm leader Lzzy Hale is set to fill in on the band’s upcoming shows.
The split between Grönwall and Skid Row is an amicable one, with the former citing the rigors of touring with a compromised immune system in a statement on the band’s social media:
“I got the opportunity to join this incredible band six months after my treatment against leukemia. And one month after that, I was on a world tour with Skid f**** Row. Wow! It was a dream come true. However, it proved challenging touring the world with an impaired immune system, which is a result of my bone marrow transplant.

It’s early afternoon on a Friday when Darren Criss and Evan Rachel Wood pick up the phone, just five days before they are set to debut as the new Seymour and Audrey in off-Broadway’s Little Shop of Horrors.
Both are on their way to the Westside Theatre stage for their first top-to-bottom run-through, taking over the complicated but beloved characters based on Roger Corman’s 1960 horror comedy and deftly adapted for the stage by theater legends Howard Ashman (book and lyrics) and Alan Menken (music).
Now in the fifth year of the U.S. revival of the dark goings-on of a Skid Row flower shop, several notable names have left their mark on the show: Jonathan Groff, Jeremy Jordan, Conrad Ricamora, Corbin Bleu, Constance Wu, Maude Apatow, Tammy Blanchard and Lena Hall. But none quite like this, as an intentional leap together among friends.

Ranbir Kapoor Says “Nothing Goes Beyond…” Addressing Criticism Around ‘Animal’ ( Photo Credit – T-Series / YouTube )
After taking the box office by storm across the globe, Animal makers celebrated the film’s success recently. Last night, the film’s star cast– Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Siddhant Karnick, and others, along with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga made a dazzling appearance at the event. Since the film’s release on December 1, it has been at the receiving end for glorifying misogyny, toxic masculinity, and violence. After Vanga, the lead actor has now addressed the criticism that his film was subjected to.
This afternoon, the film was once again in the news for responding to veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar’s criticism, who called its success ‘dangerous.’ Reacting to the same, the makers told him that his art form was a ‘big false.’ Scroll down to know what Rk has...

The Masked Singer now has another glam-metal alum among its ranks after ex-Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach was revealed as Tiki on the singing competition show on Wednesday night (December 6th).
Inspired by previous appearances from Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider and Poison’s Bret Michaels on the show, Bach was convinced to don the massive head-to-toe disguise, becoming Tiki — a literal walking tiki cocktail. Fittingly, Bach performed a song by fellow rock legends Kiss (“I Was Made for Lovin’ You”) before the big reveal, as he was eliminated during the semifinals.
Panelist Nicole Scherzinger was correct in guessing that the former Skid Row frontman was Tiki, having previously shared a bill with Bach in 2006 and picking up on a clue related to Skid Row’s “Monkey Business.”

Embracer has announced its latest results, confirming the number of layoffs in 2023 and talking of further ‘divestment processes’.
The Q2 financial results for Embracer have been released, and the report finally puts a figure on the exact number of people who have been let go from the company this year: 900, or five percent of Embracer’s workforce.
Embracer announced a restructuring program in June after a $2bn deal fell through, which was allegedly with the Saudi-backed Savvy Games. The restructuring program has already resulted in the closure of the 30-year-old studio Volition, the developer behind the Saints Row games, and layoffs have been reported at other studios in the Embracer Group, including at the Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics.
Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors addressed the layoffs in the company’s latest financial report, saying: “As of September 30, 2023, the restructuring program contributed to Embracer’s first ever quarter-over-quarter reduction in headcount of around 900 people,...

Roy Wood Jr. surprised everyone by revealing that he was leaving The Daily Show as a correspondent.
Pulling what could be described as a Trevor Noah-style exit, Wood Jr. revealed ten days ago that he would not return to the Comedy Central show, although he kept the door open in case he was named permanent host.
He told Sherri Shepherd that he is now “making sure all my ducks are in a row” in case he doesn’t get it.
He admitted that he could get the job – the process is still ongoing and Wood Jr. has been in the mix at various points, including as part of a rotating cast of permanent hosts – but in the meantime he didn’t want to stay on the show.
“I was shocked at the decision myself because number one, we were in a strike. Who do you know come off strike and then quit the job?...

Exclusive: Everybody mingles at Telluride. I have this abiding memory of Bill Kramer, CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, at the festival’s opening-day brunch set atop a mountain in the San Juan range of the Rockies, bounding over to Cannes Palme d’Or winner Justine Triet and Sandra Hüller, her sublime lead star in the prize-winning movie Anatomy of a Fall.
Kramer hadn’t seen the movie at that point, but he’d heard about Triet’s brilliant Palme acceptance speech, where she’d lambasted French President Emmanuel Macron over his draconian measures against those protesting new plans for pensions.
A vigorous conversation ensued on the mountaintop about politics and movies.

I told Kramer that he’ll more than likely see Triet and Hüller again in March, if not before.

New York Fashion Week brings together many famous faces each year, and this year, the fashion event has Blake Lively, Van Hunt, Halle Berry, Nicole Ari Parker and Tiffany Haddish sitting together in the front row at the Michael Kors Collection Spring/Summer 2024 Runway Show.
While Lively wore an eye-catching gold sequined jumpsuit, the couple next to her, Berry and her boyfriend, Hunt, were just as fashionable.
Berry wore a black body-hugging dress with a low neckline and slits on the side of the dress, showing her arms and thighs. Her loving partner, on the other hand, wore a printed sweater and gray slacks and accessorized with a black beret.
Berry and Hunt have been in a relationship since 2020, five years after Berry divorced Oliver Martinez. The former couple have just recently finalized their divorce settlement, in which Berry will have to pay Martinez $8,000 per month for child support.
