When the plane is breaking up in the air, you can see both the horizontal and vertical stabilizers breaking off in one piece. However, when you see the wreckage on the ground, the vertical stabilizer is still attached to the plane and the horizontal stabilizer is found some distance away.
The accident aircraft was an Embraer 120, but the aircraft used in the recreation of the horizontal stabilizer maintenance is a Beech 1900C with no windows, and with its registration (C-GSKW) visible on the tail, despite being painted up to look like the accident aircraft with its registration N33701 visible as well.
