I like how they vibe, and What they do with space is amazing. Lil John surprised me! He really does have an eye for design and home improvement. I hope there's a season two.

I was watching Kickstart, on Discovery +. Lil John show came on next, so I watched.

I've heard of Lil John, mostly his catchy songs, with one word. LOL. I have seen him on Chappelle Show. Thought of him as just a Hype guy. I Didn't know he is a world renowned DJ, producer. He can add amazing designer as well.

I thought this was going to be goof. I couldn't be more wrong. This guy thinks outside the box, in the most sophisticated ways. He is well traveled and has a keen sense of style. I enjoy he and Latisa(sp?) interactions. They are a great time as well as Paddy. I like that everyone is allowed to shine. I really hope this show catches on. Its a breath of fresh air.

I do and this series does it for me...

I have watched every kind of home design show available and I dearly love this new show with Lil John, Anitra, Bret and Paddy the awesome carpenter who can build literally anything John can dream up... their design is very fresh and could work in many types of homes. I love how respectful they are of the people that they are working with. Plus, it's something new every week. It's not the same neutrals that you see in all the other design shows. Yet, it still looks amazing and very custom. Please bring it back for another season!!

Oddly, when I saw the title of the show I thought, "He's going to be really good at this." Because, there really isn't a reason to do this show if he isn't. I think he's one of those people. That's just really smart and if he puts his mind to anything it's going to happen. I like the fact that they aren't painting everything gray which was driving me nuts on other shows.

I hate to say this but what I don't like is her. She tries too hard to be cool and fun and I think she'd be much better off if she just focused on being a designer instead of being Jon's cheerleader. It's probably the show telling her to do that, but hopefully they'll be a lot more seasons, and she'll stop trying to say "cool" things that she thinks lil Jon might say.

I think it comes off that he doesn't really need her and he probably doesn't. Maybe they should give up on her and her husband and focus more on the guy who can build anything out of wood. In fact, he should have his own show.

Love it! Can't wait for more.
