So far I am impressed and enjoying Rabbit Hole. We know it will never get a lot of buzz simply because of the streaming service that it is on, but there is also potential to gain a little bit of a cult following on the internet.

As we saw here though there is just not a lot of originality here. The spy on the run, the mystery about how the government covered everything up, these are all elements that we have seen dozens and dozens of times on television.

Good enough to keep me invested, but just not original enough for any of us to remember and really go out of our way to recommend it to others.

Not so clever for a clever guy

Enjoying it but really, pure Hollywood. He seems to be having difficulty understanding he's been set up - from the man who is the expert in the field! He can't think how he could be on a dating app and has to have it explained to him!!! Come on. His new "partner" is a bit of a pain. Waiting to see if she really is innocent or does she turn out to be part of it.

No explanation of how he got hold of his supposed victim.

Pure Hollywood when someone gets kicked in the face various times and no apparent damage. That's ok when its Rambo but a bit too much of that in supposedly adult shows.

Some good action and twists.

Warning: Spoilers
If John Weir always watched his back and was a tiny bit paranoid. The second episode opens with a flashback to 1981 when John was a kid.

His father Ben was paranoid as well, maybe he too was on the run for something. Even teaching his kid some fundamentals of staying elusive. He just wants to keep his family safe but he dies.

Apart from Ben Weir is played by an American actor but sounds a lot like Charles Dance. Way to spoil your end reveal!

In the present John needs to clear his name while his face is all over the news channels. He still manages to break into a FBI office and gets access to a computer terminal without anyone making him out.

Luckily Homm the man John has supposedly kill is still alive. John had him tied up.

However I am not impressed with John's combat skills with his scuffle with the skateboard kid.

So far Rabbit Hole is farfetched hokum but enjoyable enough.
