Marc and Vicky form a relatively stable couple in 1984, but the relationship with their respective best friend and brother has watered down severely. Franky is constantly occupied with his work at the elite police force Group Diane, and he became just as arrogant and intimidating to the new recruits as his superiors were to him at the beginning. When Franky gets approached to talk to Marc about not being so intrusive in his private investigations, their already feeble bond is put under even more pressure.
#6 isn't the most exhilarating episode in the series (only brief but nevertheless violent flash-footage of hold ups are shown), but it is crucial for the main storyline of the lead characters. The most intriguing supportive characters also have cool developments in this episode: Inspector Vernaillen (Peter Van den Begin) gets promoted away from the case. His former partner Goffinard (Tom Vermeir) thinks of an ingenious instruction to collect financial rewards that he cannot earn as a policeman. And, last but not least, the uncanny Bouhouche (Roda Fawaz) is put under suspicion of a raid.
