  Judge Samuel Gates : How did you know they were gonna take him? Who the hell are you?

  John Reese : You have two questions right now. Who are you and where is my son? Which one do you wanna focus on?

• Harold Finch : Not much on the SIM card. Some disconnected numbers and a handful of texts, all equally cryptic. So I'm trying to hack the cell company for more information. But their firewall is impressive.

  John Reese : You can't get in? You built a machine that spies on the entire country.

  Harold Finch : When you work for the government, access is not a problem.

• John Reese : I can't be there on time if I'm getting bad information.

  Harold Finch : The machine did not send us the wrong number. If it says that judge Gates is in danger, then he is.

  John Reese : Well, tell that to his son.

  Harold Finch : The kidnapping must connect. It could be the first step in a larger plot that ends with the judge dead. We can still put a stop to it, all of it. But we need a plan.

  John Reese : I have a plan. Find Sam. The man just lost his wife. I won't let him wind up alone.

• John Reese : Oh, he comes when he's called. Good. Now if I could just train you to stop trying to kill me.

  Lionel Fusco : How long am I going to have to work down here? Commute's a bitch.

  John Reese : You should be grateful. Takes some guys years to make task force. Plus, I let you live.

• John Reese : Find out if there's been any ransom kidnappings reported. White guys with crew cuts. One with long hair.

  Lionel Fusco : Kidnapping's big news. I'd have heard something.

  John Reese : What about Amber alerts? Child abduction?

  Lionel Fusco : Is that what we're dealing with?

  John Reese : We? Since when are you on board?

  Lionel Fusco : It's still a missing kid. Hey, whatever else I've done, I'm still a cop.

• Judge Samuel Gates : You had your chance. I'm not playing games with my son's life.

  John Reese : They'll kill you both as soon as they get what they want. Now, I can save your son. You just have to trust me.
