Good film but could have been better
kabirsisodia15 December 2023
The plot and overall the story is not a rare and is quite pridictible, although the director try to do something different with the, what should I say... A musical conversation in the beginning of the film but for me that also did not work, But I must say the film does not let you feel the need of a star cast the actor have done a good job, specially the chemestry between the 2 friends and I wish the love hate relationship between maal and devika was continued in the 2ed half of the film as well. I feel the character of gurpreet was of no use except for some comedy scenes. Summing up it was a decent film which could have been great if were not for a few mistakes.

Fresh and unforgettable
vikrambhakta6 November 2023
The storyline starts with the usual quirky comedy, however soon transforms, involves and sucks you in the depths of human emotions and pains of realising your dreams. It's Indian cinema - so the underdog has to win, however the rollercoaster ride of emotions is commendable. You can associate with each character, coz, for sure you would have come across them in your life. From Anu aunty to Mal, From Devika to Pummy aunty.

The characters have done a very good and decent job of portraying the characters, without much flamboyance, over the top portrayal. Just the right amount of tadka to leave a memorable taste in the mind, without much acidity and heartburn. Kudos to the team for bringing out this beautiful story.

Just goes to show you don't need intimate scenes, violance, sex and Bollywood songs to pull at the heart strings of the audience.

This movie will surely stay in your heart for long and will bring a smile
nairabh29 September 2023
Hindi movie Tumse na ho payega is a good inspirational and motivational movie with a good essence of humour, emotions , greed and jealousy You will surely remember maa ka Khanna in this. This movie is for all those folks who work 9 to 7 job and are frustrated and they always plan and think to start their own business.

Story is about a guy who decides to form his own start-up. He redefines success and growth as he navigates the challenges of running a business and maintaining relationships.

His freinds also join and go thru a roller coaster rides when they start a company where they sell homely food cooked by mothers .

The movie touches upon the middle class' belief that having a business is not meant for them and parental pressure is to play it safe. It talks about taking risks to follow one's dreams and giving the power to define one's success to no one else.

Ishawak singh, Mahima makena, Aamala Annikeni and Guarav Pandey have acted superbly.

Abhishek Sinha as director has done a splendid job. Dialogues by Nitesh tiwari was good and some were damn funny.

Special mention about screenplay and dailogues they have used simple hindi words that we use to talk with our freinds with lots of good gaalis here and there This movie will surely stay in your heart for long and will bring a smile Simple and good movie not to be missed Worth watching it on Disney +Hotstar #DisneyPlus #DisneyPlusHotstar #TumseNaHoPayega #moviereview #hindimoviereview #ishawaksingh #abhisheksinha #NiteshTiwari #AmalaAkkineni.

Top class movie with fresh story lines
sensubhanjan2 October 2023
The story line is mind-blowing, bole toh ekdam fresh story . Top class acting by top class actors. Every corporate employee should watch this film. You will not be bored with this film. It shows every relationship very well, mother-son relationship, friendship, love story. Sometimes it makes me emotional. Gadar 2, Pathan, Jawaan, Bahubali jaisi movies aati jaati rehti hai. Movie aise hi honi chaiye jisse 4 log yaad kare like this movie. And Anu aunty, Arjun and premeet Sethi's play clean dark carecters. Lots of emotional pahses comes with story line. Really appreciated to director, kya movie dikhai. Ishank Singh and Gaurav Pandey most underrated actors in Bollywood. Mahima also did well in this movie. And Amala Ma'am ke kya hi kehne. She looks still very pretty. Overall good and clean movie. You can say this is not a movie it's life lesson for youngsters.

A Movie to which you can relate a lot
phantommickey5 October 2023
A good script with good dialogues, a sense of reality, some personal touch , emotional and funny scenes will always work.

This movie is perfectly shot no over the top dialogues or scenes has a sense of relativity to the characters and scenes. Shows how we are always afraid of people's assumptions and at times afraid to take a leap. Success or failures are part of life but we need to stick around people who see our value.

The journey of a mediocre guy from school who and his friends are ways undervalued. The protagonist finally takes a leap watch where his journey takes him.

You don't need stars for a good script and this movie will surely make a place in your heart.

Light and vibrant
dhunjiwadia1 October 2023
Varun Agarwal's book, 'How I Braved Anu Aunty And Co-Founded A Million Dollar Company' is a story that has motivated many to start their own journeys.

Inspired by the book, Nitesh Tiwari, Nikhil Mehrotra and Varun Agarwal's screenplay presents a simple and fun-filled story packed with life's lessons. There are moments where one can connect with the movie and the characters. In a way, the film is a pep talk for wannabe entrepreneurs, offering useful advice without being preachy.

Ishwak Singh comfortably fits into the role of Gaurav Pandey - the guy who loses his job but doesn't lose his spirit. Instead, he decides to start a business. Ishwak is at ease particularly when breaking the 4th-wall (Speaking to the audience). But the character forgets about it midway through the film.

The extremely talented Mahima Makwana plays Devika, who is as aggressive as the guys. The narrative is enriched by supporting characters played by Gaurav Pandey and Gurpreet Saini. The friendship part of the story has a feel-good vibe. But the romance part isn't as appealing.

Amala Akkineni as Gaurav's Mother is wonderful in her role. And Meghna Malik, as Anu Aunty, beautifully portrays the irritating neighborhood aunt. I wanted to throw things at her at different moments throughout the movie. Parmeet Sethi as the sly investor plays the part with his usual panache. The rest of the cast beautifully portrayed by home chefs, led by Pummy Aunty (Farida Dadi), are a delight.

Budding feature film director Abhishek Sinha manages to keep things light and vibrant for most of the film. The cinematography dazzles in the culinary sequences.

The one-liners, like 'Khajur with a date' are fun. But adding expletives and profanities in the dialogue are uncalled for over here. Perhaps the youth will vibe with them. But one expects the talented Nitesh Tiwari to take the lead in not succumbing to this now recurring OTT temptation.

Also, the showcasing of inner thoughts through T-shirts (Dead Inside or Shut Up) was like the title-cards in a silent movie. Little subtlety would've been preferred.

2+ hours of fun viewing at home for the weekend.

Movie which touched my hearts made my middle clear
sathviksathish1 October 2023
There are many which are made just for entertainment like the masala films, rom coms etc but you rarely find a film which is motivating, close to real problems and solutions for them. This movie stands in that line anyone can give entertainment in anyway but movie that make you think will always stay in your heart for long time.this movie made me clear that success is defined by yourself not by the people surrounding you and don't rush your success in that emotions are also there in life and buisness and job is part of life then how can you neglect that fact so even if dream big dream at your own pace not with the pace what others think. Watch this movie if you want to do something in even if being lazy but don't end without reigning yourself....😊

A Simple, Ordinary Movie without a dull moment
navsarjak31 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is about how an ordinary office worker leaves his corporate life and opens a successful startup.

There have been other Hindi Films on the same topic but none approach it with the simple and clear manner as this film. The setting of the film is in a middle class suburb and as such many urban viewers can easily relate to the characters. All these characters are played by seasoned TV actors, thus sparing us from instances of cliched dialogue delivery or overacting most often seen in case of new actors. To add spice to the simple story, elements of sarcastic banter between friends and one sided love between the movie's leads is also added.

There is just one weakness in the movie's, it's villains. There are three negative characters in the movie who are all written in a caricaturish manner.

The movie though not dull, is also devoid of any outstanding moment/ scene. This makes the movie a good one time watch but not worthy of any revisit.

Recommended for one time watch only.

the only person to decide your success is YOU
faisal-sadaqat2 October 2023
After a VERY long time, we get to see a movie which talks about start-ups/business and its success factors relating to more than one aspect of life!

This movie talks about friendship, work life and ethics and more important LOVE required in a business to progress and be successful !

Gaurav (Ishwak Singh) the main actor, does a brilliant job after his success in the famous tv series THE ROCKET BOYS; the supporting actor (Gaurav Pandey) does ANOTHER wonder in a supporting role after Humpty series supporting cast success; he is one of those friends EVERYONE desire to have!

Well done TSNHPG team !

Tumse ho Paya
sanjeevanwar2 October 2023
Anwar Says: Nitish Tiwary has been acclaimed for his movies Dangal and Chichore and he has written this light hearted story with full of emotions, directed by Abhishek Sinha. A real cute screenplay and you would flow with it. A break from foul language, politicians -criminals nexus and mafia operators movies/ web series. Beginning, middle or end, you won't find a single scene useless or likely to be pruned.

Ishwak Singh continued with his Rocket Boys look which is more suitable here. He seldom smiles, leaves a mundane job and listens to his heart and goes for a start up. All kinds of hiccups, social pressure , sharks ready to upsurp and girlfriend not materialising but the master stoke of director Abhishek Sinha , when the working mother stands beside him , leaving her job .The woman lead Mahima Makwana and friend Gaurav Pandey also have their shares of cake.

Guys , go for it and the last scene at Harvard would bring a genuine smile on your face, I bet. One more thing I liked in the movie is perfect costume of the characters, particularly the T's of Ishwak and jewelleries/ accessories of Mahima.

More than expected
winaykulkarni29 October 2023
I was pleasantly surprised by this film, as it exceeded my initial expectations. The standout aspect was the quality of the acting, particularly from the new actors. Their performances were captivating and showcased their potential in the industry.

The plot was engaging and kept me hooked throughout. It offered a unique and refreshing take on the genre, with well-executed twists and turns that added depth to the story. The cinematography and direction were also noteworthy, creating a visually appealing and immersive experience.

The pacing was well-balanced, ensuring that the narrative flowed smoothly without any dull moments. The film's music and sound design added to the overall atmosphere, enhancing emotional connections with the characters and their journeys.

While there were some minor flaws in the script and character development, they didn't significantly detract from the overall enjoyment of the movie. The potential for improvement in future projects is evident, and I'm excited to see how these talented newcomers evolve in their careers.

In conclusion, this film is a hidden gem, showcasing remarkable performances and promising talent. It's a pleasant surprise that leaves you looking forward to the filmmakers' next endeavors. Good luck to the cast and crew on their future projects; they have the potential to make a significant mark in the industry.

The book was definitely better
chandrabhanusolanki29 September 2023
I read How I braved Anu Aunty in 2013 and was waiting for the story of Alma Mater here before watching this movie. The movie takes some other track and that's where I lose it as a reader and viewer. You can change city , you can change the idea but you can't change the soul of a story and expect it to work. I was amazed by the struggle Varun went through to start his company but I am searching for it in this story.

Spending jail time is not that struggle, you can crack jokes and go there. I would definitely want to see another movie where The Alma mater is selling t-shirts and not Maa's magic selling tiffins.

The story which could've been Bangalore days is lost in Mumbai local.

Ishwak Singh's Movie Will Make us Miss 'Maa ke Haath ka Khana' !!!
cs_rahul_prasad30 September 2023
'Tumse Na Ho Payega' has been inspired by Varun Agarwal's book, 'How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-Founded a Million Dollar Company.' Gaurav, played by Ishwak Singh, is a 28-year-old man who is stuck in a lifeless corporate job. One day, he is fired from his job, which earns him naysayers' disapproval. After a short setback, he gets the idea of a new start-up that he works on with his friend.

Gaurav delivers home-cooked lunches made by mothers to working professionals in the office. The moms are happy, the customers are happier - this new food start-up is an instant hit. However, in an era of cut-throat competition, Gaurav's business takes a hit. He takes comfort by sharing his problems with Devika, played by Mahima Makwana, his love interest. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

"Tum decide karoge if you have failed or passed" - This line from 'Tumse Na Ho Payega' is a big life lesson. If you are one of those who is stuck in a dead-end job just to keep the salary coming in, this film is for you. While getting a decent lifestyle is the dream, how many of us think about ruling our own lives, having no boss and kickstarting a new business perhaps? At the same time, many of us have also been bogged down by the pressures of society. Haven't all of us felt suffocated at a point in our lives? Gaurav was also one of those people. However, he doesn't give in to people who are constantly putting him down. He stands up to everyone and becomes a successful entrepreneur, of course, after tasting failures. From being a boring man, Gaurav transforms into a daring risk-taker. 'Tumse Na Ho Payega' has a lovely motivational message, especially for the millennials who are in a constant search for happiness.

Anu Aunty, played by Meghna Malik, is the perfect depiction of those in our society who have nothing better to do but poke in other people's business. Her overachieving son, played by Karan Jotwani, keeps getting success and Gaurav's mom, played by Amala Akkineni, keeps comparing her son to him. Think of him as Sharma ji ka beta jiske marks tumse zyada aye. More relatable, eh? Greedy investor (Parmeet Sethi) is the devil in the film. And the moms who cook food for Gaurav and help him in his business are pure angels. Watching them on-screen will instantly make you want to hug them, perhaps even remind you of your moms.

Ishwak Singh is the star of the film. There's no other actor who could have played Gaurav better than him. Mahima Makwana's character has a very trendy job of as a social media manager for celebrities. The actress has done a great job with her performance. Gaurav's friends, Mal, played by Gaurav Pandey and Vaghela, played by Gurpreet Saini, add depth to their roles.

'Tumse Na Ho Payega' will remain in your hearts for a very long, long time despite shortcomings. Even though it's a one-time watch, this slice-of-life film is relatable because, hey, life's a mess and we get to see just that on screen. The realities of everyday life are perfectly portrayed in the film.

Much Needed Content For Today's Generation
moviewishlife5 October 2023
In the realm of cinema, "TNHP" stands as a testament to the human spirit's fervor, its tumultuous journey, and the resounding mantra that echoes at its conclusion: "Follow your own convictions, not the expectations of others." While I've yet to explore the pages of its source material, this film has ignited a desire within me to delve into its literary counterpart.

In a world often saturated with relentless action, graphic depictions, and a brooding atmosphere, this cinematic creation emerges as a heartwarming oasis. It rejuvenates our weary souls amidst the hustle and bustle of contemporary life, evoking smiles in the midst of our busy days.

The film's narrative artfully strikes a harmonious chord across the emotional spectrum. It seamlessly blends elements of humor, satire, and an unflinching portrayal of society's unforgiving realities. Its overarching message is a poignant one, urging us to attune ourselves to our inner compass and forge ahead. It gently reminds us that the pursuit of happiness should transcend the pursuit of professional success, whether that be through conventional employment or entrepreneurial ventures.

The characters in "TNHP" radiate enthusiasm, and their journeys are akin to a rollercoaster, filled with crests and troughs, mirroring the capricious nature of life itself. Each character contributes to the intricate fabric of the narrative, rendering it both relatable and indelible.

As the credits roll and the curtain falls, "TNHP" leaves us with a renewed sense of purpose, kindling a desire to follow our passions and stay true to our authentic selves. It serves as a timely reminder that in the grand scheme of things, what truly matters is not merely the pursuit of financial wealth, but rather the pursuit of our own happiness.

In summation, "TNHP" is a cinematic masterpiece that weaves together the diverse threads of an exceptional story. Its power to touch our hearts, elicit laughter, and encourage introspection is a testament to its brilliance. This film serves as a potent catalyst to live life on our own terms, a compelling argument that, at times, the most significant endeavor is simply to embrace our true passions and act in accordance with our convictions. It's an absolute must-see for those in search of inspiration and a refreshing outlook on life.

Sameer lodaya

The movie titled tumse na ho payega based on a novel has done really better

Though the content is a repetitive one but they made the movie in a very honest simple and sweet way..a little bit of chopping on the movie was required and the turn which a they made was very late thus the struggle for come back was missed..the pace should had been a step better to give the young startup's story a better version...bad words could had been avoided

Ishwak was very good with his simplicity, soft dialogue's ,innocent looks he gave his best..

The movie is a pure ott chill out types on a weekend.

Must watch movie for inspiration
swarajsbharti4 October 2023
I have always been a fan of Varun Aggarwal and his talks. Watching the films brought back all those memories that he had mentioned in his book " How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-Founded a Million Dollar Company". The movie has simple plot with great dialogues. Full of reality and fiction. Last 10 minutes is just is just a dream of every startup and Founders. The screenplay and storyline is impressive. Movies without much promotion like this one and also which is very well made is a bit rare these days. Kudos to the team of Tumse Na Ho Payega for making such a good movie!!!

One of the good hindi movie recent days
haisuguna2 October 2023
Tumse na ho payega is an excellent movie with humour, friendship, love and lot of today society belief "what others will think"

Director did a solid story, dialogues and characterization. 5 school time friends, their work life and later a business idea.

The movie name itself comes with a message of a middle class guy, when he comes up with a business idea and the hurdles he face on implementing along with friends support .

More than the storyline the catchy dialogues, cinematography, background music all did a good job.

Not like a generic bollywood masala movie. This movie is something like Udaan.

Best for students and inters
dheerchanana12 October 2023
For many students who are on the cusp of entering the corporate world, the transition can be daunting. The corporate landscape can often seem like a monolithic, intimidating structure that leaves little room for personal growth and innovation. However, there's a glimmer of hope in the form of small startup ideas. These startups not only showcase the potential of budding entrepreneurs but also demonstrate that having the right skills can open doors to countless opportunities.

One of the most striking aspects of small startups is that they serve as a breeding ground for innovation and creativity. Unlike the corporate world, where conformity and rigid structures can sometimes stifle individuality, startups encourage out-of-the-box thinking. They provide an environment where fresh ideas can flourish, and where individuals can make a tangible impact from day one. This is particularly important for students who might feel overwhelmed by the prospect of conforming to a predefined corporate culture.

In the realm of startups, potential is not merely a buzzword but a driving force. Students, often underestimated by larger corporations, can showcase their abilities and have a real impact on the company's growth trajectory. The rapid pace of startups allows individuals to learn, adapt, and contribute in a meaningful way. This hands-on experience can be a powerful confidence booster for those who are new to the professional world.

However, it's important to note that while startups offer a unique platform for growth, they're not the only option available. The world is teeming with opportunities, and having skills can serve as your golden ticket. The job market is increasingly dynamic, and if you possess valuable skills, you'll find that you're in high demand. This demand extends beyond just startups; established corporations are also on the lookout for individuals who can bring a fresh perspective and a unique skill set to the table.

Moreover, having skills doesn't mean that you're obligated to stay in an environment that doesn't align with your personal preferences. The beauty of the modern professional landscape is that it offers flexibility. If you find yourself in a job or work environment that doesn't resonate with you, you're not locked into it for life. There's a wealth of opportunities to explore and pivot your career in a direction that suits your passions and interests. The ability to adapt and evolve is a powerful asset in today's ever-changing job market.

This brings us to the essence of the review - the film "Something Good." It's a refreshing cinematic experience that resonates with individuals navigating the complex world of career choices. The film beautifully portrays the journey of a young person who discovers their potential and navigates through the uncertainties of the professional world. It's a reminder that life is full of surprises and opportunities, even when things seem bleak.

In conclusion, the fear of the corporate world is not uncommon, especially among students. However, small startups showcase the potential for personal growth and innovation, emphasizing the importance of skills as a ticket to various career opportunities. Remember, you're not confined to a job or environment that doesn't align with your interests, and there are countless opportunities to explore. "Something Good" is a film that encapsulates these themes, serving as a source of inspiration and encouragement for those embarking on their career journey.

Amazing movie
ganeshv-0121630 September 2023
With a bunch of new stars, an amazing storyline, brilliantly executed. A must watch - fight with your back to the wall and still win by staying focused on execution

Very well scripted to meet those goals. A must watch for everyone having aspirations and determination to do something in life. So naturally played out in the movie, that it must be watched to be believed. A combination of slapstick comedy with strategic thinking and a will to succeed

Brilliant set of youngsters who played out their role as if it is real life. The flow of the movie, the strategies coming out from wisdom, the need to recalibrate based on market needs, all add to the super journey that this movie crescends into

Inspite of the tough storyline, it is an unbelievably racy movie. Hats off.

Super torture
mguru-rao1 October 2023
This movie tried very hard to be coming of age type of movie instead ended up being predictable, pretentious and torturous. This actually falls under new type of genre called "talking out of your a**". Where there is no facts or data being spoke instead just say i did this, i did that, i am prechy, and then boom million dollar company ..... yeah AKA "G*nd se Baath"....

After few minutes we all could figure out what the story is going to be and then was hoping that "dabba business" math karo yarrr, however ended up being exactly that. Such a typical TVF style formula, but now it's being repetitive.

And last why does it always have to be about a dude who was fired, has to end up doing business and becomes Elon Musk.... ??
