Great Short Film
oncefan2484 January 2012
When you think of small-budgeted, independently produced films, oftentimes the expectations are set pretty low. But that shouldn't be the case for this film. The direction, writing and acting are all top-notch, with Orozovich using a variety of fantastic shots and camera angles throughout, and Schram (who also wrote) and Steele playing well off of each other while giving their characters dimension within the short time length. The story itself is a funny and introspective take on how technology affects people and relationships -- specifically how social networking can cause people to become different versions of themselves and easily judge others by focusing on just a few characteristics. The film is also well edited, with effective use of flashbacks and "What if?" type of scenarios that help keep the audience visually engaged. This is overall just a great short film (with awesome original music), and I'm looking forward to seeing what else this team has to offer.

A funny, smart, relevant, well written, well edited, and well acted little film. I laughed out loud. Nicole Schram and Izzie Steele's performances are honest, funny and believable. They seamlessly capture the spirit of today's "twenty something single girls next door". The film is a smart, comic look at how social networking impacts issues like privacy, vulnerability, dating, etc... The pace of the film held my attention from beginning to end. You will find yourself grooving to the film's original song even after the movie is over. The lighting may well be the only intimation that this film was produced on such a small budget. Bravo!
