Passed by the British Board of Film Censors with a "U" certificate on 18 March 1938 and previewed in London at the United Artists Own Theatre on 25 March 1938 (one showing at 11am for press and trade only). Enjoyed a run in London's West End when it was chosen to accompany Prison Without Bars (1938) which ran for five weeks at the London Pavilion from 19 September 1938. In New York City the film accompanied There Goes My Heart (1938) at Radio City Music Hall from 3 November 1938.
