B. Skow and David Stanley teamed up for several fine features, but "Cheap Trixxx" late in their Vivid Video careers is horrible. It's bad enough to be assumed to be intentionally bad, though I'm not too sure of that.
It was made for contract stars the Russo Twins and some brainy type (probably Shylar Cobi, Vivid handler who also is production manager and an actor in this mess) thought it would be wonderful to add another set of twins, namely former contractees the Love Twins, Lyndsey and Lacey.
Much worse than Skow's earlier Vivid clunker "Circus", this one concerns a couple of warring magicians, poorly played by Sascha (with a mohawk haircut, just what a stage magician would have in Skow's nonexistent universe) and Barry Scott, who at least is bald as usual. The only women in the cast are the pair of twins, and the old gimmick is that they get to hump guys as sibling teams and also in a lesbian scene where they trade off in order to avoid incest. Of course, incest on screen is the only reason to cast twins in porn, an honest enough gimmick back in the days of theatrical porn: See: the Young Twins in Carter Stevens movies for example.
Everything about Stanley's script and Skow's direction is dreadful: a stupid plot with idiotic twists; lame stagings of each clunk's magic act, made with zero production values, bad special effects, etc. The sex scenes are mundane, and sad to say, after several years in the skin trade the still young Love twins look haggard and used up. The Russo twins are better looking and perhaps their fans will swallow this trashy video hook, line and sinker.
