An very interesting journey in the places where Marcel Pagnol has spend his childhood and adolescence: the Garlaban mountain where Charly Cannezza (président de la socitét de chasse l'Allaudienne" is taking care for the wildlife, the dry areas of Provence where the "sourciers" helped to the farmers to find water sources (Domaine du Temps perdu).
As Pagnol was also an inventor, we meet Alain Maurin , the inventor of a special anchor, Frankie Zapata the creator of the Flyboard Air or Pierer André Aubert (restaurant "Le Prsage" ho is cooking with solar energy.
We discover the Castle of Buzine ,now transformed into a museum about the cinema of Pagnol, the Castle of Forbin owned by Caroline Pozzo di Borgo and transformed into a painting exhibition or the castle of Vayson restored by Jean-Baptiste and Fanny Vayson.
Marcel Pagnol used also to stop at "Le Cigalon", the restaurant of "la Treille" where Pascal Parisse foffers the famous "pieds et paquets", a lamb dish.
In Allauch we discover the cndies factories, the "suce-miel" : the 92 years old Ginette Pesta remembers with her colleagues of the "Moulin Bleu" the making the candies.
Then we see in Marseille the Vallon des Auffes (with its swimming pool) , the port of the Goudes (the chef Didier Tani),and the Anse du Pharo (the shipwright Denis making the "pointu" boats.
I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with Nicolas Dromard (the visit of Allauch, the theatre in the nature) , with Nicolas Pagnol (the grandson of Marcel Pagnol), with Jean-Marc, Baptiste et Hélène Negrel (the dances, the walk to the estate, the tasting of saffron), with Emmanuel Fall (the theatre in the nature), with Floryse Grimaud in Aubagne, with Luc nd Magali Falcot (the goat cheese producers) and finally with Nicolas Pagnol and Fanny Havas (boat tour in the port of Marseille): very nice encounters with ver kind Provence men and women.
