It boggles the mind how such a poorly-conceived film could have found financial backing in 2010. From the very first scene, where Kennedy is shot (using archive footage) and David first becomes unhinged, all the way to the implausible finale, which I won't spoil, this film stretches the limits of what an audience can be reasonably expected to believe. When Robert F. Kennedy gets into the act, and Hubert Humphrey tries to cover up Kennedy's death and alarming zombie behavior as "just some bad clams he ate" the plot veers off track and the viewer is left wondering how the entire Democratic establishment would fail to notice that John F. Kennedy, along with his entire cabinet, are now marauding zombies. Having said all that, the scene with the dog and the mono remark is quite humorous as are other parts. And if your goal is to get scared, well then prepare for the worst!!
