Dumb and confusing....
planktonrules21 September 2015
"Bob's Busy Day" is a very confusing film when it first begins. While it was released in the 1940s, it's obvious the print is about 10 years older. This is because the footage originally came from a full-length film called "Going Spanish" but someone later edited out all the singing and kept all the laughs...or, shall I say 'so-called laughs'?!

The film is simply terrible. It's jokes are dreadful and very contrived. One example of the crap in this film is the Hispanic place Bob Hope visits...'Los Pochos-Eggos'. And, when he's in Los Pochos-Eggos, every acts stupidly--punching each other and behaving like idiots because it's 'Don't Do It Day'. Huh?! Who wrote this crap?! It's obvious that even a decent comic is only as good as his or her material...and this material is awful and terribly unfunny. Worth a look only if you want to see the absolute worst film Hope ever made.
