- Sentinels: Surrender, mutants.
- Cyclops: [clicks on his communicator] Give 'em the forecast.
- Sentinels: Omega-level threat detected.
- [Lightning strikes the sand, turning it into glass.]
- Storm: Ancient sands, heed my command and reclaim these relics of hatred.
- [Storm destroys the Sentinels with a tornado of glass]
- [after the Friends of Humanity have Cyclops tied up]
- Carl Denti: Take his visor before he starts up again.
- Cyclops: No! Don't! I surrender!
- [the FoH remove Cyclops' visor]
- Cyclops: Not!
- [Cyclops opens his eyes and destroys the entire FoH compound with his optic blast]
- [the X-Men rush to Professor Xavier's office and see Magneto, who places the old portrait of the team back on the wall with his magnetic power]
- Magneto: Charles Xavier was the finest man I knew. Despite our differences, he never ceased to have faith in our friendship, nor forgive my many failings. Perhaps that is why the old fool has done this.
- Cyclops: Magneto, what are you doing in our home?
- Magneto: Your home? I beg to differ, Cyclops.
- [Magneto hands a book to Cyclops]
- Magneto: The last will and testament of Charles Francis Xavier. As you all will see, his fortune, his school, everything he built, everything he fought for, now belongs to me, my X-Men.
- Roberto Da Costa: [seeing Cyclops] Meu Deus. Good guy or bad guy?
- Cyclops: Name's Cyclops. Definitely the good guy.
- Storm: I am Storm, mistress of the elements! Surrender the boy or face my fury!
- Carl Denti: I ain't afraid of you, mutant witch!
- [aims Sentinel blaster at her]
- Storm: Then you are a fool!
- [blasts Denti back with a lightning bolt]
- Storm: Whole announcement shtick didn't go over so well, did it?
- Bishop: Pardon me, Bishop, for striving to resolve matters peacefully.
- Henry Gyrich: Why would I know where Trask is?
- Storm: You helped fund his Sentinel program when you worked for the Defense Department.
- Cyclops: Gyrich, you're serving 25 years. You talk and I get it down to 10.
- Henry Gyrich: [whistles] You mutants are moving up, making friends in high places. Though it's got to hurt, offering that deal to me. Those Sentinel upgrades really threw you.
- Storm: We merely hoped some humans had evolved beyond the past.
- Henry Gyrich: [scoffs] Did you honestly think we'd roll over and let mutants take over the planet? That we wouldn't fight back?
- Storm: Yet your cruelty has only made humanity more sympathetic to our cause.
- Henry Gyrich: Oh, did it? No, you're in vogue, Storm. A fad. "Look at my mutant friend." But under all that fashionable sympathy, normal people know the more room we make for your kind, the less we leave for ours. So, we might wear tolerance on our sleeves, but we know the naked truth. Tolerance is extinction.
- Cyclops: Ten years, Gyrich. Yours to win or lose.
- Henry Gyrich: I won the day I shot the man you freak shows look up to. And you get an "A" for effort, Mr. Summers, but we both know you're no Charles Xavier.
- Cyclops: You're right. I'm not Charles Xavier. He'd reason with you. Be patient. He'd do everything in his power to save you.
- Henry Gyrich: Save me? From what, you?
- Cyclops: No. But have you met my wife?
- Beast: [Roberto awakens in Beast's lab to the sounds of Mozart and the sight of Beast tinkering with Bishop's temporal transceiver] Salutations and welcome. I'm...
- Roberto Da Costa: Blue. Very blue. Wow.
- Beast: An astute observation, my boy. Hank McCoy here, or if you prefer my friendly nom de guerre, Beast. That there at the foot of your bed is...
- Jubilee: Name's Jubilee, and, dude, I get it. One day, life's fresh, and the next day, you're waking up to a blue monkey singing Mozart as he tinkers with doohickeys.
- Beast: Simian analogies, Jubilee? Shame on you. And this doohickey is an elegant piece of art capable of teleporting someone through time and space.
- Jubilee: Bishop's bling. He's a time traveler.
- Magneto: [Jubilee is running Roberto through a simulation of Magneto in the Danger Room] Hear me! Humanity's days are over! We are nature's favored children. A new age begins as we build a bright mutant future upon...
- Roberto Da Costa: Video games are for nerds!
- Jubilee: Oh, it's no game, buddy. It's the Danger Room. It's where we train. That's Magneto, the Professor's ex-bestie. They had, uh, different takes on human-mutant co-existence. So, what can you do? Fly? Teleport? Shoot gold balls from your body? That'd be weird.
- Roberto Da Costa: But, like, he's not even real.
- Magneto: You would turn your back on your own?
- [the simulation Magneto hurls an I-beam at Roberto, who narrowly dodges it]
- Jubilee: Better show me those powers, tough guy.
- Roberto Da Costa: Seriously, girl, get a life!
- [Wolverine tackles Roberto to the ground from behind, then extends two of his right-hand claws on either side of Roberto's head]
- Wolverine: Show the lady some respect.
- Roberto Da Costa: Oh, so scary, Jubilee. Can we stop now?
- Wolverine: Computer, end program.
- [the simulation ends. Roberto is shocked to learn Wolverine is real. Wolverine then extends his left-hand claws in front of Roberto's face, to the youth's horror]
- Wolverine: Scary enough for you, bub?
- Bolivar Trask: You mutants may be the next step in evolution, but you're still animals and you need to be put down.
