The audio for every episode was recorded by André van Duin and Ferry de Groot in André's personal studio up in the attic of his windmill in Rijnsaterwoude.
Most of the character names are borrowed from real life people. Ferry de Groot basically goes by his own name as "Meneer de Groot". "Ome Joop" is a reference to producer Joop van den Ende. "Harry Nak" is named after a saxophone player who often worked on Van Duin's stage shows. Bep and Toos are the names of Van Duin's original manager's Theo Rekkers and Huug Kok's wives.
