IMDb credits Girlfriends Films' Dan O'Connell with directing this 9th edition of the popular cougar-oriented series, but it's obvious why he never takes a screen credit (or gives other crew members such signposts for film historians to note). This is haphazard filmmaking and casting to say the least, saved only by a mammary-fixation worthy of the late Russ Meyer.
In particular there is a particularly obscure pair of players in the first half of the 2-part feature: ultra-busty Violet Adamson (built like a stripper of old, say the Virgina Bell prototype) and hard-bodied, unattractive Montana Skye. They can't act worth a darn, and destroy any pretense of credibility as Adamson pours on the phony incest action with young jail-bait (forever) Allie Haze, sharing her with swapper mom Montana, and then Admason gets to hump clueless young blonde Kara Novak one on one. Except for household name Allie, the other three women are strictly gonzo-filler artistes.
I would call the second half of the show poorly scripted except that Mr. O'Connell refuses to use a script. Instead he has Julia Ann quite overbearing in her improv (trying to make sense out of nothingness and hold the film together by sheer force of will), as mom to Victoria White, traded off to the wonderful (elsewhere, not here) Lexi Lamour. The venality of this segment is ridiculous, as both Lexi as interior decorator and Julia Ann as client with a mansion who happens to be a cheapskate, use their off-spring as sexual favors to drive a bargain. I found it obnoxious, and the general overplaying of fake orgasms in the Teri Weigel screeching mode ruined this episode. Basically, Girlfriends wanted to exploit the summit meeting of two legitimate All-Time big bust greats Kagney Linn Carter and Julia Ann, but their Sapphic sex proved to be repetitious.
As an artifact, Part 8 merely preserves for the future two ephemeral models: Violet and Montana.
