As a fan who played the game since he was 9, I couldn't get any goosebumps watching this series. Everything about the show feels missing. With hero count over 100 and limitless lore, they did this as their best. I never liked LoL but the series Arcane pulled me into it, it was exciting and deep. Valve is a multi-billion dollar company and they can't sell anything for sure, same goes with CS:GO as well. Valve should take some marketing lessons from Riot for sure.

I just finished watching the last episode of season 3. As a DotA player, after watching 3 seasons and watching several breakdowns, I came to the conclusion that the creator of this show didn't understand the game. Poor writing and the overall weak structure of the show are the biggest problems. If this show is going to get renewed, I highly recommend changing the writers and studio. Learn from Arcane for the sake of players who care about the game. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Firstly the series was good and I'd recommend it.
That being said... What on earth happened during the later part of production? Seriously. Take the time and do it a service, not a disservice.
Things are rushed, questions left unanswered and the end just making not a lot of sense.
Universe 12000 and something, yet she wasn't allowed to imagine a universe without the massacres? Where good people must remain dead. Where the bad people are still around? Where she must live in depression without her best friend, without her love, without her family?
I think someone (egotistical) was jumping at the whole 'must have a sad ending' without actually thinking about the bigger picture? Sometimes a selfish decision can wreck a series.

DotA has over 120 heroes, which means over 120 potential origin stories. It has awesome comics as well. But God forbid a faithful adaptation of these sources! No, they have to come up with their own stupid ORIGINAL plot lines! Honestly, this series was a waste of time, money, and effort overall. Hopefully, they'll accept their failure and end the show and start a new and better one after learning from more successful video game adaptations like Castlevania and Arcane.
