Graphics are nicely updated from Asteroids. Having a boss to fight at the end of the stages is nice. Controls are smooth, there's good reason to move around to shoot as well as pick up items. Music is questionable, I know it's meant to sound spacey but is a bit like random synth, the game would be better without it. Best to just call it done after stage 1 and tell yourself "Congratulations" as there's no beginning and not much of an ending. It's a grind until then.
