"Thought of You" is a really short film from 2010, over 5 years ago, as it only runs for three minutes. The writer and director was Ryan Jeremy Woodward, who has worked in the animation department for several pretty famous films, but here he shows us that he can also deliver as the man in charge. The style may look simple, but the movements are the heart and soul of this dance-oriented little movie. I found it a really aesthetic watch and it's good that it is not that long because at 2 more minutes perhaps, it may have started to drag a bit. There is no real story, it's just all about the pleasure and the relaxation while enjoying the beauty of dance. i guess people who dance themselves will like this film even more than I did. But everybody else can check it out too because this is 180 seconds worth watching. I hope Woodward can build on the film's success as I certainly see some talent in here. Thumbs up!

Found this video when I was 15 and I watch it at least 4 times every year, especially when big things are happening in my life. Every time I've watch this, I've received a different message; this is what makes this animation so phenomenal. Brilliant soundtrack, beautiful fluidity, important story.

...or, maybe, magic. for its high convincing simplicity. it is not easy to define it. sure, modern dance and drawing. the best song for it. and the fluid movement. and something else, without name or precise traiys, familiar, like each story about a man and a woman but essential for define a story who has deep roots in memory and sensitivity of the viewer. it is one of rare gems with the virtue of trip across yourself. memories, words, gestures, regrets, nostalgic hours and the so simple love. and nothing else. because in 3 minutes, "Thought of You" tells the most profound message who you could imagine. or expect. or hope.
