Put this one in the sunlight!

The most inept filmmaking I have had the misfortune of watching. The production boasts a budget of 500k? I have a hard time believing this was made for even a tenth of that. Where did all that money go? None of it is on the screen. But even a 5 million dollar budget could have helped this project. The story is meandering, ridiculous and awful, but worst of all boring. I don't think whomever wrote the summary on IMDb has seen the movie or read the script. The directing and camera work are what you would expect of a child with their mom's video camera. The effects are probably worse than you can imagine.

Don't make the same mistake I did, my time could have been spent much better doing literally anything else. "Movies" like this make me detest the consumer-grade cameras that turned thousands of inexperienced, arrogant buffoons into wannabe directors. It all makes complete sense when you realize that the vampire leader (Maximus Thorson, give me a break) is played by Shawn Anthony, who is also the writer, director, producer, cameraman, special effects artist, editor, and stunt coordinator. What a terribly failed effort at ego boosting, and a failure in every way possible.

Worst "Film" Ever!

After watching this awful collaboration between twilight and underworld I was left completely dumbfounded. his "Film" and I use the term extremely lightly was the absolute worst thing I have ever seen. The director shows no kind of cinematic intelligence as he lined up the entire cast in each scene for them to deliver their lines. the action in the film is a complete joke and so are the special FX. I mean having a vampire hold arrows that were supposed to be through her chest with her hands so they would stay in place... laughable. I feel sorry for the small amount of talent that this film did have. To top it off the complete unnecessary addition of a sex scene, I think the Shawn is just a pervert. The best "special FX" was when in order to show "Maximus" (What a joke) as a really fast vampire they just took the whole scene and put it in fast forward so not only was the amazing talented (yeah right) Maximus was super fast, but so was everyone else that challenged him. The film seems lazy to say the least. If I could give it less then a 1 I would.

Like watching a colostomy bag explode

Beware the flies that buzzeth: they are drawn to the pile of human excrement that is this film. How do you put a one hundred year-old crone in tight leather and try to pass her off as Kate Beckinsale? The red wig isn't enough to hide the fact that she ought to be stirring a cauldron someplace. I guess compared to the writer and director, who also plays Evil Vampiric Meatloaf, she's but a minor turdling.

PLOT: Underworld meets Lost Boys meets Swan's Crossing. Guy with two daughters that clearly aren't his move to a town. This town has vampires. And werewolves. And none of them can act. Vampires fight werewolves while stalked by an ancient order of high-tech dinner theater actors. SPOILER ALERT: Neither the vampires nor the werewolves nor the high tech dinner theaters lose the battle -- only the terrible director.

Very interesting film.

You normally know how a Vampire story goes, but blending the fall of the angels with Vampires to build the story line is unique and makes it more interesting than just another Vampire movie. It's also very tiring seeing every vampire look like they are 20. For the love of ... not everyone becomes a vampire at 20. I love the fact that the actors are older, more mature and have more depth. As an actor, this would be a movie I would love to land a part in. I can feel the dark side. I watched this after reading the two prior reviews trying to find the weaknesses. Then I realized I just didn't see these weaknesses. I found the way the story was put together and the story line itself deeply layered and it got my attention. I think the best compliment I can give it, is I would have loved to have a part in it.
