In Platonic Season 1 Episode 6, "The Big Two Six," the age gap between Will and Peyton is the focus. This turns the Peyton arc, benefiting the overall story and serving as a singular comedy. The fresh romance between Will and Peyton is also highlighted, showcasing their strengths and the lighter side of the age gap. The episode provided comic relief and drew audience's sympathy for the couple, as their quirky age difference was endearing and quirky. "The Big Two Six" showcases the opposite side of the show, comparing the thrift store melee to a choreographed dance Peyton and her friends perform at her birthday bash. Will describes the former as "sexy and gross," while the latter is a state of horror for the audience. Will acknowledges the age gap issue without Sylvia's opinion, projecting fears onto her. Sylvia likes Peyton, despite her youth and cuteness, and urges Will not to break up on her birthday. She likely uses her babysitter services, despite the age gap.
