- A film about a repressed farmer's daughter in a conservative community who is learning how to free herself, physically and emotionally, through a lesbian affair with a migrant worker.
- A young woman called Marie has been trapped and living in a very conservative farm family since she was born. Her stereotype father, her aggressive brother and her mother who has no say in the family, have never been supportive towards Marie. Living in an isolated village, she doesn't get the chance to experience great things. She wants to be able to express herself. One certain day a Bulgarian called Alexandra arrives at the farm to work and earn money. The immigrant at first sight looks distant but not much later the opposite is proved when Marie gets to work more on the field. During manual labor, Alexandra and Marie meet up with each other and the first contact doesn't seem to happen unnoticed. As we follow Marie, we see her eyes lighten up as she feels someone is suddenly caring about her. Time passes by and love seems to be the next level between the two of them. All under the eye of the farm family. One evening Marie sees her beloved one walking outside where she seconds later discovers that Alexandra is beaten up by her brother. The severe father notices Marie is not in the house anymore and he can only guess who she is with. The next day the father would make sure that Marie and Alexandra got separated for life. It's up to Marie to decide what to do next: Return to the old way of living or to take a different path.—Anonymous
