Cute TV show where kids teach other kids how to cook!

A cute and simple, much needed show - Where kids demonstrate how to prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes using fresh ingredients. From Shakshuka to Chicken and Leek pie, Vegan Burger and Sweet Potato Wedges to Shepherd's Pie. Its SO great to see young kids cooking and eating meals with real ingredients. Our kids (4 and 6 years old) are always chomping at the bit to cook and bake, and this show demonstrates loads of kid friendly recipes for full meals (not just cup-cakes), and a safe way of prepping and cooking them! We've enjoyed making 2 or 3 of the recipes together as a family.

I love the idea of different young kids around the UK, teaching JB and his family, recipes (from their own kitchens) so a different meal can be prepared and shared with their local community from their farm cafe. What a great idea and much needed example for these times. Well done JB & Chloe Gill and well done Milkshake and Channel 5 for making it and sharing it! Bravo!

So far it's all veggie and vegan recipes aimed at getting children to cook.

Don't get me wrong kids need to eat healthy and learn to cook. However every sensible nutritionist says children need nutrition from MEAT as they grow. Due to lack of meat this can lead to various health issues.

A big issue is deficiency. Especially from vitamin B12. Only found in meats. Synthetic B12 has lead to the body rejecting both natural and synthetic B12 as the Synthetic shape is wrong so the body distorts the receivers shape and ends up rejecting B12.

This is just one of many issues, something which I assume the media channel didn't research.

How did this get approved to be on air?

Teaches children how to cook from scratch.

Great for teaching little ones how to cook, which is very lacking generally nowadays. Mainly whole food cooking so healthy meals, plenty of veg, grains and protein sources of varying types (lentils, meat, beans etc.) encourages the kids to take interest and get involved. Would help fussy eaters gain interest.

Unsure why another couple of reviews complained it's all plant food. It isn't. Plenty of meat and dairy used in the recipes (Nonetheless, WHO and NHS both agree a well planned vegan diet are fine for all ages and stages of life so wouldn't matter of it were) Feel these people reviewing just have an anti-vegan vendetta!

Great programme, highly recommend.

I realise that fruit and veg are good for you, but a wide varied natural diet is even better, which includes eating meat. I do not understand why this foodstuff is being left out of the programme when it is an important part of a healthy diet, especially for growing children. Meat definitely does not need to be the sole focus and vegan or vegetarian episodes are of course welcome to cater for as many different diet types as possible, but if only these are being used then the supposed open mindedness of the programme is none existent. Even if it is just sausages or something would meet such standards.
