Remember the days before wi-fi? Well, thanks to Wes Anderson's former assistant, screenwriter Mike Le, we got to time travel back to 1999, when the Internet was still a new concept and people regularly used fax machines. On Thursday, Le shared the handwritten note via Twitter, noting that it was from "circa 1999." "Why don't you see if you can get this fax machine working," Anderson writes. "It's much better than the other one. Also, any word on our computer system?" "Let's get extra phone line for Internet," he adds. A handwritten note from Wes Anderson when I was his personal assistant circa 1999: pic.

Fourth Us indie deal in 18 months
ITV has acquired Diga Vision, the Us indie responsible for MTV’s remake of Teen Wolf.
The deal marks ITV’s fourth Us indie deal in the last 18 months following the purchases of Duck Dynasty producer Gurney Productions, Cake Boss indie High Noon Entertainment and Thinkfactory Media, producer of Hatfields and McCoys.
ITV has bought a 51% stake in the business and has taken an option to buy the remainder of the company over the next three to six years.
Although ITV has not disclosed how much it paid for Diga Vision, it said that the multiple paid is similar to the range paid on previous acquisitions, thought to be around eight times earnings.
Diga was set up in 2011 by former MTV executives Tony Disanto, who was president of programming at the cable network, and its head of series development Liz Gateley, along with backing from Ben Silverman’s Electus.

Up-all-night, anything-goes Koreatown, where Los Angeles laws always seem a little looser, is ready for its zeitgeist-tapping close-up. On July 11, Electus chairman Ben Silverman’s just-launched YouTube channel Loud debuted K-Town, a Jersey Shore-inspired series that follows a party-hardy group of eight Korean-Americans (yes, there’s drink-throwing) in the glitzy, sometimes-gritty neighborhood between Hancock Park and downtown. The show’s producers include former MTV executives Liz Gateley and Tony Disanto, as well as Tyrese Gibson. “It’s a really cool subculture that we haven’t seen in mainstream media,” says Silverman.
