- Luke Parker, a brilliant young psychiatrist has always relied on analysis and logic. But his amazing mind can't fathom the call of his destiny. Luke's patient, William Titus embodies why 'lunar' is the root of 'lunatic.' He's a serial killer, but more than that, he believes he's a werewolf. And Titus has a secret.—James Wolf
- Luke Parker goes at night to interrogate William Titus and evaluate his fitness for trial. Titus gets in his head throughout the interview and says Luke wants the truth but won't be able to handle it once he gets into Titus' head. Luke attempts to proceed with the interrogation and ask about the murders. Luke promises to withhold judgment. Titus says he was acting on instinct and had no control because there's a werewolf inside him. Luke writes down a series of delusion-related disorders and tries to figure out which one Titus has. Titus asks Luke if he believes in fate, and Luke says no. As Titus talks some more, the camera shows that Luke has a bandaged injury on the left side of his neck. Luke acknowledges that Titus has claimed to be a werewolf before. Luke gets slightly agitated and brings up the 30 kills, which Titus claims was the victims' destiny since birth. Some flashbacks to a masked figure in a psych ward are seen. Luke begins to double over on the floor in pain as Titus reads and taunts him. Luke blames Titus for whatever is happening to him and then acknowledges someone more qualified needs to interview Titus. Titus says it's Luke's destiny to march on with Luke's burden. There's blood on Luke's right side of his lip. The full moon begins to be revealed from the clouds. Luke winces in pain, the clock strikes midnight, and Titus spits out blood. He pops out fangs and his eyes go from brown to bright green. He drops his book and begins strangling Luke. It turns out that the strangling was just a sensation and Titus was never actually in the room. Luke is clenching his neck and his mouth is bloody with fangs. Luke's eyes turn bright green. He convulses violently as flashbacks to the murders and outside the psych ward flash back. Luke asks, "What the hell is happening to me?" He breaks out of handcuffs he was apparently wearing all along and his hands turn into a hairy paw with sharp claws. His face has become a hairy werewolf's snout. The full moon turns dark red. William Titus wasn't real. He was just a delusion created in Luke's mind to cope with the fact that he is a werewolf who killed 30 people. As the camera turns black, Luke calmly notes: "Last night was the night of the Blood Moon. Today the world changes forever unless ( can stop it before it destroys the human race."
