Solid episode
jfilu24 October 2022
This episode was pretty good, one thing to note is that it has no B plot with it focusing mainly on Cleveland and Peter. Which is nice that Cleveland gets that time of the month. Still a bit off that Brian and Stewie don't even appear. These newer episode I've noticed also have a drop in cutaway's. Which sucks, but thankfully most of the jokes in this episode are solid. I got a couple laughs but it's probably the weakest episode of the season so far. Cleveland getting himself in the goofiest way possible was probably the best part. After that I think the episode wasn't as funny. Not much to say, but I think season 21 is progressing along nicely.

It was okay... but not as good as last week episode.

I'll be honest here, that last week episode of Family Guy was absolutely hilarious! But while I was watching this Unzipped Code episode... I have a feeling it wouldn't be as good as The Munchurian Candidate. Sometimes new episodes are always a hit and miss.

This episode is about when Cleveland is fired as a mailman after an ignominious mishap, but flourishes in his new job at the brewery. The first half of the episode was kind of funny, but the second half of the episode was.... the big meh. However, the whole episode wasn't that bad, it just needs to be a bit more funnier like last week episode, instead of just boring the audiences with their lame flat jokes.

So yeah, this episode was a bit decent, but like I said before: Sometimes new episodes are always a hit and miss.

I give this episode a 6 out of 10! That is all.

Unzipped Code

Warning: Spoilers
A pretty good episode that focused one of the show's most important bonds: Peter and Cleveland.

I love when the show parodies the wide and crazy world of work and mocking the lame catchphrases and expressions did such. I haven't heard "well, that's Monday's problem" too often but maybe I am in the wrong line of work.

The only thing I do not really enjoy is the new boss. This character is purposely very stiff and stilted, but it is just not delivering laughs in the way that they think it is. I feel like they should have gone a lot more creative and brought in an absurd character as opposed to the straight man.

Been awhile since Cleveland had his solo episode
checkina-6457124 October 2022
This episode was super entertaining to watch, and the plot showed depth between Peter and Cleveland's characters. It show how hardworking and dedicated Cleveland is and how Incompetent and foolish Peter is in hilarious ways. Awesome episode, yet not as laugh out loud funny the previous episode was. However, this episode on its own did provide funny moments and the depth of working jobs you love and hate. 9.3/10 in my opinion. The lack of cutaways gags and long gags is much needed to tell better storylines with character development and arcs. We need more stories with the humor and context being much more complex, subtle and relatable.

Episode is soulless
dylanmk1 November 2022
Episode was not entertaining, following the same formula. Just kept repeating the same tired jokes, feels like it was a Frankenstein family guy episode made of tropes and direct lines from past episodes. I really wanted to like it considering it has been so long since we have had a Cleveland episode, but it just didn't do it for me. And the new boss is even worse than Burt and Sheila, he is so boring and not even so boring he's funny like they're going for. This episode is so unoriginal it's like a high schooler copying their older siblings's essay for English class. Didn't even have any laughs, the only jokes were the same formulaic ones.

Pretty funny but with a big problem

Warning: Spoilers
Episode's pretty solid, had some fun jokes here and there (My favorite scene was the zoom meeting). Everything went decent enough and I couldn't help but notice Meg's been getting a highly better treatment as of lately.

The problem I'm talking about starts to catch on during the end. Peter attempts to get Cleveland fired from the brewery after getting demoted from his old position in favor of Cleveland, but then gets exposed and is fired himself. Cleveland then stands up for Peter for some reason and instead proposes his resignation in favor for Peter. I would've really enjoyed if the show gave the finger to the status quo for once and changed things between episodes with long-lasting effects. Cleveland should've kept his job at the brewery with Peter is what I'm saying. Other than that it's a pretty decent episode with good jokes here and there.
