I was hoping for an exciting thriller but this wasn't it. Acting was good and the plot intriguing, but most of the time it was so dark I had to half guess what was going on. There are a couple of outdoor scenes where this is contrasted with a flood of light but that didn't really help in the end. Very nice to doze of too, for the most part quiet and slow paced with minimal dialogue.
Spoiler: After a while it seems like the husband is keeping the wife in the house against her will, drugging her and not letting her see her daughter. She wants to save her daughter and one night the wife manages to leave her room to look for the daughter. However something snaps her back to reality when she remembers that on her birthday the daughter hanged herself.
Theres's several movies about memories and trauma more interesting than this one and I would not recommend watching it even though it's not the worst I've seen.
