Believed to be the first winner of a contest where a film was made from start to finish in 48 hours.
The "48 hours of Madness" 2 day (48-hour) film making contest was the first of it's kind. The original contest was held in the spring of 2003 and has been duplicated around the world. The short Film "Mic Check" was the winner of the Best Picture and Audience Choice awards for the entire film festival.
De Veau Dunn, was the winning director of the very first 48 Hours of Madness competition and went on to write several scripts for the film making competition in the years following his win with "Mic Check."
