This has got to be one of the worst documentaries on art and the art world I've ever seen. After suffering through an unbearably long introduction by the head of the museums you are led down a slow and meandering path that does nothing to illuminate the masterpieces that are located within these amazing museums. Slow and tedious shots of water dripping, dust flying, clouds blowing take up time and space that should be spent on showing us the art. The creators were more entranced with their own artful (and wasteful) shots that they neglected to give the audience what it wanted: Art! I had to leave after investing 45 minutes on this disaster of a documentary. If you want to see the work that lives within the Vatican walls I recommend you go to their website, or better yet: Just visit the damn place!
