Young Kristoff : [pulling on the reins of his reindeer in a snowy land] Come on, Sven!
[the scene changes to the castle of Arendelle]
Young Anna : [approaching her big sister, who is sleeping soundly in bed] Elsa, psst! Elsa!
[Anna climbs on the bed and pushes on Elsa]
Young Anna : Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!
Young Elsa : Anna, go back to sleep!
Young Anna : [sighs and rolls around] I just can't! The sky's awake so I'm awake. So we have to play!
Young Elsa : Go play by yourself!
[Elsa pushes Anna off the bed. Anna hits the floor, but suddenly smiles, climbs back on the bed, and opens Elsa's left eye]
Young Anna : [mischievously] Do you want to build a snowman?
[Elsa opens her eyes and a mischievous smile forms on her face; cuts to Anna and Elsa running downstairs to the ballroom]

Young Anna : [singing] Do You Wanna Build A Snowman? It doesn't have to be a snowman.
Young Elsa : [spoken rudely] Go away Anna.
Young Anna : [sadly singing] OK. Bye.

King : [putting the gloves on Young Elsa's hands] The gloves will help. See? Conceal it.
Young Elsa : Don't feel it.
King , Young Elsa : [together] Don't let it show.

Anna : Elsa, we were so close, we can be like that again.
Young Anna : [Elsa has a flashback to her childhood and Anna's] Catch me!
Young Elsa : Slow down!
[Young Elsa accidentally hits Anna with her snow magic; Elsa rushes to an unconscious Anna's side]
Young Elsa : Anna!
Elsa : [the flashback ends] No, we can't. Goodbye, Anna.
Anna : Elsa, wait!
Elsa : No, I'm just trying to protect you!
Anna : You don't have to protect me - I'm not afraid! Please, don't shut me out again!

Young Anna : [Young Anna and Elsa slide down the indoor snow mound created by young Elsa's ice magic] Tickle bumps!

[the King of Arendelle looks in the library, finds an ancient book with rune writings, and rides off for Troll Valley, as Young Elsa leaves a magical trail on the ground]
Young Kristoff : Ice? Faster, Sven!
[Young Kristoff follows the magic ice trail at a safe distance on Sven's back]

[Young Anna and Elsa enter the ballroom, giggling]
Young Anna : Do the magic! Do the magic!
[Young Elsa moves her hands in a circular motion, creating magic]
Young Anna : Ohhh...
Young Elsa : Ready?
Young Anna : Uh-huh.
[Young Elsa tosses the magic up to the ballroom ceiling]
Young Anna : This is amazing!
Young Elsa : Watch this!
[Young Elsa steps on the ballroom floor, which turns to ice]
Young Elsa : [Young Anna and Elsa build a snowman; Young Elsa imitates what Olaf would sound like] Hi, I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs!
Young Anna : I love you, Olaf!
[Young Anna hugs Olaf]

King : Please, help! It's my daughter!
[the Rock trolls roll into the valley]
Gothi - Troll Priest : It's the king!
Young Kristoff : Trolls?
[the rock Kristoff is hiding behing turns out to be a female troll named Bulda]
Bulda : Shush! I'm trying to listen!
[Sven licks Bulda's right cheek]
Bulda : Cuties, I'm going to keep you!
[Bulda hugs young Kristoff and Sven to her cheeks]
Pabbie : [the King of Arendelle kneels] Your Majesty. Born with the powers, or cursed?
King : Born, and they're getting stronger.
[the Queen hands Anna to Pabbie for examination]
Pabbie : Here, here.
[Pabbie puts his hand to Anna's forehead]
Pabbie : You were lucky it wasn't her heart; the heart is not so easily changed, but the head can be persuaded.
King : Do what you must.
Pabbie : I recommend we remove all magic... even memories of magic, to be safe. But don't worry, I'll leave the fun.
[Pabbie puts his hands on Anna's forehead]
Pabbie : She will be okay.
Young Elsa : But she won't remember I have powers?
King : It's for the best.
Pabbie : Listen to me, Elsa: your power will only grow. There is beauty in it...
[the trolls ooh and aah at the magical Aurora Borealis-like sky shadows]
Pabbie : But also great danger. You must learn to control it... fear will be your enemy.
King : No, we'll protect her. She can learn to control it, I'm sure. Until then, we'll lock the gates, we'll reduce the staff, we will limit her contact with people, and keep her powers hidden from everyone... including Anna.
