Am I about to change my opinion about Kate Reed? Previous episode we saw her getting really, really furious with Ben, jumping over her desk to confront him simply because he compared her to himself. This episode, she gets near-balistic with Ben again in the elevator. This is not an attractive quality. It goes beyond passionate displays of caring about others. She has TOO MUCH of a chip on her shoulder, WAY TOO MUCH, and for what? She obviously had a protected privileged childhood and rebels against authority for no reason at all.

If an aggressive nature is unattractive in a male character, it is also unattractive in a female character. There can be no denying this. And she flies off the deep end about nihilistic issues, it's her own pride. If she had just cause, different story if her situation merited her response.

Ben would be bringing in more money, and she's a partner, rolling in his dough.

Like Lauren says, "Grow up, Kate!" And simmer down. Look at that goofy intro with the campy smile and the Golden Gate bridge reminding us Kate Reed spans the divide between corporate greed and those looking for a fair slice settlement. Live up to that image. You're not supposed to be some reform school girl going on like a wannabe back alley thug

Anger management, Kate?

Rebel with a cause? No. Wake up and smell the coffee. After all, you sleep on his $10 000 couch with relish because it is a $10 000 couch.
