And the winners of the 2013 Grammy Awards are ... the men. Male artists dominate the nominees in the top categories for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, announced Wednesday night (Dec. 5).
Topping the list with six nominations each are Jay-z, Kanye West, Fun., Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys.
Taylor Swift, whose new album "Red" won't be eligible for consideration until 2014, earned a single nod for Record of the Year with her hit breakup single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
The biggest snubs are teen heartthrobs Justin Bieber and One Direction, who cleaned up at the American Music Awards, and Rihanna. The "Diamonds" singer earned a trio of nods (pop solo performance for her "Where Have You Been," rap-sung collaboration nomination with Jay-z for "Talk That Talk" and short-form music video for "We Found Love") but is Mia from the major categories.
