Thomas Daniel & Terry Sasaki choreographed & performed all their own stunt & fights on the spot.
The actors were often given only one or two takes for most shots. Seven or more pages of dialogue were sometimes given to actors minutes before shots to be memorized.
The directors & actors collaborated in altering the story to enrich the character development. For example, whether or not certain characters would live or die & how they would do so were changed during production.
Terry Sasaki impressed the producers so much that they replaced an already cast British actor with Sasaki for the lead role of David Caine.
