- Suresh Raina: [after winning Man of the match at IPL 2010 Final] Our staff have put in lot of hard work. I'm really happy for the team. It's been a great year for us.
- MS Dhoni: [IPL 2010 Final post match presentation] Credit goes to the team, we were under pressure in the middle of he tournament, excited to lift the trophy today. We were happy with the total, the Mumbai wicket supports the seamers and Bollinger did well early, Ashwin has been doing a superb job with new ball. We were able to create the kind of pressure to get wickets. The IPL gets better and better, the benchmark keeps rising each year. The players will sweat more because of extra teams next year, the pressure will be on the office-bearers to make it further big.
- Kieron Pollard: [after winning Man of the match at IPL 2013 Final] Good to play some of your best cricket against the best IPL team. I thank my family and the crowd for backing us. I have to try and take responsibility and it came off today.
- Rohit Sharma: [after winning Man of the match at IPL 2015 Final] Whenever I have come here, I have taken happy memories back. It has been a very good journey. To bounce back from that situation we found ourselves in in the first half is very rare. It has been a great journey. I couldn't have asked for more. It was important to show character. We knew we had guys who could do that. This is a sweet victory because we came from nowhere, with people writing us off.
- AB De Villiers: [after winning motm at 46th match of 2015 IPL season] Things just went my day today. I was panicking a bit after the five dot balls but Virat is a remarkable player and gave great support. The basics for me remain the same from Tests to ODIs, to even T20s. My tactics change every game, I wait for some momentum on my side and then decide to get going. I only watch the ball closely and keep my head still.
- Virat Kohli: [Post match presentation of 46th match of 2015 IPL season] Couldn't have asked for anything more from the team. I didn't expect 230 to be honest. 175 or so was expected around the six-over mark but AB proved me wrong. Playing with AB is an absolute pleasure, he's the best in the world. The way Mumbai were going in the middle overs I thought we needed 200-plus. The win feels good because it came at the right time for us.
- David Warner: [Post match presentation of final of 2016 IPL season] Fantastic team achievement. To lead this side and the support from the players, me pulling my weight with the runs, it has been a hard journey. It's a team effort. To have the perfect game, we need to gel. For us, the key was team effort all the way. Look we knew, we had to get 200. Virat Kohli, what a great leader! I can't take it away from him. He set the benchmark this season. We knew we had to win three straight games. To win in Bangalore, we were underdogs. But, we batted well, bowled well, and fielded well. In 24 hours, I will be off to the Caribbean. Time to have a beer.
- Virat Kohli: [after winning orange cap of 2016 IPL season] It is a nice incentive, but it does not feel good to be at the other side of the result. Why Sunrisers won is because they have a strong bowling attack. I knew I was hitting the ball well and I just wanted to keep contributing. Why not, records are meant to be broken.
- [Four hundreds?]
- Virat Kohli: I surprised myself there. I opened the innings, someone batting at No.3 or No.4 may not have scored much.
- David Warner: [IPL 2016 Final post match presentation] Fantastic team achievement. - Shikhar Dhawan: [after winning IPL 2016] It has been a great season for me and the team. Davey lead from the front from the first game. It has been a great journey. I feel our team is balanced. As the tournament went ahead, we put big runs on the board. Cutting has played just two or three matches, but has performed well.
- Bhuvneshwar Kumar: [after winning IPL 2016] I just had to keep myself composed. Getting yorkers right in the best way to bowl yorkers. Warner just said to keep my cool and bowl the yorkers.
- Steve Smith: [IPL 2017 Final post match presentation] It's a hard one to swallow. I am proud of the way the boys played throughout the tournament. They were probably below par with 129. It was a tough wicket to get runs, everyone could see that. Just couldn't get over the line. We had wickets in hand as well. It was only one or two good overs that we needed to get in front so credit to them. They did a terrific job to restrict us. It's been fantastic, I've learnt so much from the IPL over the last two years. I'd like to thank my franchise. Who knows where we'll be next year. Just disappointing to lose, it wasn't the fairy tale finish we wanted.
- MS Dhoni: [IPL 2018 Final post match presentation] When you're fielding, you have to adjust your plans, but other than that, our batsmen know their style. And if someone is finding it difficult, you know the incoming batsman won't have it easy as well. You have to keep in mind that Bhuvi is as deceptive as Rashid, so it's not only one bowler in their side that could've put pressure on us. So, I feel it's a really good batting effort. But we always had the belief that we had the firepower in the middle overs. There was no plan to send Bravo up ahead. Rayudu has been our main batters, so we had protection in the middle. Every win is special, so difficult to pick any one win. Lot of people talk about numbers, statistics, so tonight's 27th, my jersey number is 7, and this was our seventh final. We talked a lot about age, but what's more important is the fitness. Rayudu, at 33, it doesn't really matter. That's what more matters than age. If you ask most captains, they want players who move well on the field. Doesn't matter if you're 19-20 years old. We knew our shortcomings, and we were aware of it. If Watson tries to dive, he may injure his hamstring, so we don't want him to do that. We've been aware of these things. Age is just a number, but you have to be very fit. No plans as of now. We go to Chennai tomorrow. Irrespective of the result, that was the plan. Go to Chennai, meet the fans and those close to the team. But we'll have a get together in the hotel and enjoy the evening.
- Shane Watson: [after winning MOTM at IPL 2018 Final] It's just been a special season. To get an opportunity after my previous year, was incredible. Things fell my way nicely tonight, but to be able to do it in such a big game... it's very special. After those first ten balls, I was hoping to catch up. Wanted to get run-a-ball before getting out. Bhuvi was excellent so we had to see the first six overs without any damage. Once the ball stopped swinging, it got easier. The good thing is I don't have to play for a few months, so have some time to recover. The support with MS, Fleming and Simsek was excellent.
- Imran Tahir: [after winning Purple Cap in 2019 IPL] I'm grateful to Chennai for giving me an opportunity at this age. Want to thank management, coaches, captain and players. It's sad we didn't win but Mumbai played well and deserved the victory. I've been working hard to maintain an economy. Not easy bowling against the local Indian and international players. But really just pleased with my self. Hard work is all I've been doing. I would love to carry on as long I can.
- David Warner: [via video message after winning Orange Cap in 2019 IPL] An honour to win the Orange Cap, When we play, we don't think of these awards. But must say congratulations to the curator for a good surface. Always a privilege to play in Hyderabad. Very grateful to be part of the IPL. Thank you very much.
- Rohit Sharma: [2019 IPL Final post match presentation] We played some good cricket. Good to see we qualified in the top two. At the start of the tournament, we wanted to split the tournament into two halves. But credit to the entire squad, not just the XI. Even the support staff as well. Our bowling in this tournament was excellent. At different stages, our bowlers put their hands up and brought us back in the game. Every bowler who got an opportunity put their hand up, whatever condition we played in. We backed our ability and our skills, and that's probably why we got rewards. About Malinga, that's what champions do. I had confidence in him despite a poor third over. He also had confidence he could do it. I thought we could use Hardik for the 20th, but wanted to back someone who has done it for us. Malinga has done it many times in the past, so not a very difficult decision. As a captain, I am learning every game and every tournament. But need to give credit to the team. Firmly believe captain is representative of this team. Players make the captain look good.
- MS Dhoni: [2019 IPL Final post match presentation] As a team we had a good season. But we need to go back and reflect. Wasn't one of those years where we played very good cricket. Middle order never clicked, but somehow we managed. Today was one game we should've done slightly better. It was quite a funny game, we were passing the trophy to each other. Both committed mistakes, and eventually the winning team was the one that committed one mistake less. Our bowlers did really well. It was not a 150 wicket, but the bowlers kept us in the hunt. They kept getting wickets when it was really needed. Batting, someone kept chipping in and we kept winning. To be consistent next year, we will have to really think hard. It's too early to say right now. Up next is the World Cup. That's the first priority. After that, we will chat about CSK. Nothing against the bowlers, but the batsmen could've done better. Hopefully yes, we'll see you next year.
- Lasith Malinga: [after winning IPL 2019] Last ball, I thought that if they get one run, it would be a Super Over, but I wanted us to win. So I went for my wicket ball.
- Kieron Pollard: [after winning IPL 2019] Last ball, I thought that if they get one run, it would be a Super Over, but I wanted us to win. So I went for my wicket ball.
- Hardik Pandya: [after winning IPL 2019] Lot of people were saying that we had won three times so they would win the fourth. But I told Krunal, no, it's going to be 4-0. Lost a few kgs today, such a tight game. I used to have Mumbai Indians posters in my room growing up, and to win with them: amazing. Played well this season, but now time to move on. Want to lift that World Cup trophy as well.
