***SPOILERS*** Very confusing and disjointed Lifetime Movie that has to do with a serial killer on the loose in Ft. Lauderdale Florida who becomes an obsession with channel 8 news reporter Daria Valdez Morrow, Barbie Castro, after she lost her memory in a car crash with her wimpy and cry baby husband Sam,Casper Van Dien, behind the wheel. About the only memory that Daria has is when she and her mother were abased by her drunken and abusive father when she was 10 years old. This in fact has really nothing to do with the story since were never shown what her dad's abuse of her and her mother had to do with the killing going on in Ft. Lauderdale.
In fact we get a little side story here with Daria suddenly suspecting her soft in the head husband Sam as being the serial killer after she overheard him talk in his sleep about killing someone which was very properly this agent who got him the part in the movie! This has almost the entire film, after Sam's so-called confession, concentrate on Sam not the serial killer that in fact gives him cover to commit feather killings.
***SPOILERS**** We also have Sam & Darie's good friend newspaper editor Aron Banfield played by Armand Assante using what sounded like a Marlon Brando style speaking voice that made it difficult if not impossible to understand what he was saying, which wasn't much to begin with, without the use of English subtitles! The movie ends with a happy ending between Daria, who by them got her memory back, and her husband Sam after dining in a swanky Ft.Lauderdale restaurant. It's then that we finally get to see our old friend the mysterious serial murderer-The guy with the snake tattoo on his arm-who's just about to murder his next victim!
