Useful Spunky Fun!

This show works on so many levels. It's a step-by-step helpful guide for "late bloomers" who are perhaps trying gardening for the very first time. Ms. Katrell really nails it with her professionalism and passion for getting in touch with our food, the soil and our connection to the planet.

For quick and helpful info, you can do a key word search for a specific episode. Or, if you want to be inspired, you can watch the series from her first intro episode forward chronologically to follow her journey - a vicarious one for many of us who might be considering tearing up our front yards (as she does) to grow food. You'll hear about the mistakes she makes and the triumphs when her learning curve starts to zoom upward.

Katrell has a pleasant and professional on-camera presence and she never takes herself too seriously. The only thing she seems really serious about is making up for lost time as a "late season" and first time gardener.

Late Bloomer Show

My heirloom bean seed led me to meet Kaye . I hope we get to meet face to face some day . Seeds are magic that way - they take you down a path. She has a beautiful spirit and gritty determination as well as deep insight into what's needed in our world and digs right in .

I do hope her hard work will reach a larger audience one day. As the foods people eat become more global and industrialized, many are seeking our ancient roots with the earth and the health that brings with it . I love the way Kaye chooses subjects that are interesting and do able for most as well as has her hand on the pulse of our times in what she shares .

The way she engages with people is also an inspiration to me . I enjoy her humor and the concern for all natures creatures including where there are problems . I do hope we can continue to share with each other as we garden on opposite coasts.:)Sharon

Entertaining and educational, how much better can it get!

I am not 100% sure how I came across Late Bloomer but I'd love to send a thank you to whomever introduced us. Kaye is quite the character and I think I've been gardening for about the same amount of time that she has. She is incredibly entertaining (especially for a show that has to do with gardening, I mean come on, I love gardening but how do you make it so entertaining?). Her videos have given me so much useful information I feel like I should be sending her a check. She has a wonderful on camera presence that captures your attention and keeps you engaged and listening to each and every word she says. The videos are wonderfully shot and edited. The bloopers are as entertaining as the video. I look forward to each new Late Bloomer episode and hope that Kaye continues to teach/guide me on my gardening journey. A wonderful series!

Best Quality Garden Videos on the Internet!

Kaye Kittrell's talent as film maker, writer and director really shines as she learns the ins and outs of being an urban gardener. I was amazed to learn that she does all of her own filming. Kaye has an award winning type smile and mannerisms that have just endeared me to watching this series. Unlike most garden videos which only show success, Kate brings up all the problems and challenges of being a newbie gardener in an urban environment. While she makes many mistakes, she learns from these and moves on to face the next set of issues. The videos are very well edited and have great sound quality. Kudos to Kaye and all of the talented people who work on this series.

Kaye is Bursting Out All Over!!!!

"Late Bloomer" is pure delight with a pot pouri of information that is delivered in such a way that it all slides down like honey. Truly. Kaye, in her 'let me tell you how it is' sort of way, with her easy smile and beautiful countenance, facilitates this 'wanna be gardener extraordinaire' with the ability to listen and hear the facts rather than wave them off and pray that seed flinging will indeed work. Aside from the selfish rewards that come from paying attention, it is astounding that Kaye is virtually a one woman show! She writes and orchestrates every episode, as well as being the on camera talent and off camera planet herald and green grower. This show is fabulous!

Love Kaye and Late Bloomer

Kaye created a wonderful Gardening show in a small urban yard in Pasadena, California. Now, I am "Following Her Journey," across country to Late Bloomer 2.0, The Tennessee Homestead, where she has nine acres to develop. Come join me and many others to watch her adventures in her return to country living.

Late Bloomer

Late Bloomer is the perfect show for people that want to learn about growing vegetables. Kaye is bubbly and educational - all while having a great sense of humor. I get in such a great mood when watching Late Bloomer... it really makes me want to garden more (and that is the goal of a gardening show, isn't it?).

I really can't say enough about this show. The production value is really great. This is a very underrated show - and Kaye is a very underrated host. I dare you to find a youtube show with better production value and effort going into every episode. I can't wait to see what Late Bloomer has in store for 2016!
