There's no such thing as just an ordinary day! Warning: Spoilers
Basically, this is an interesting recreation of the events that happened during the first episodes of the series (Rollercoaster) but making it a musical.

Only such a good cartoon like "Phineas and Ferb" could make a concept like that to work so incredibly well, making it something more than a simple repetition of one previous episode in order to create one of the best moments in the entire show.

The songs of this chapter are pretty good, as always, with catchy tunes and many effective cultural references. The new gags worked incredibly well, making this a standalone episode which captures the best elements of the series.

The ending of this episode (With all the characters singing) is simply excellent, being one of my favorite moments from "Phineas and Ferb".

Tis the first day of summer

Loved the premise for "Rollercoaster: The Musical". Did worry initially that it would be too much of a cheater and be a series of clips or something but it did not turn out that way. Really liked the idea of reminiscing over past events from a milestone part of life and building another story around it. Had no doubt that 'Phineas and Ferb' would do it well at least, it was brilliant at its best and did affectionate and entertaining so well consistently which is what the premise needs.

Affectionate and entertaining "Rollercoaster: The Musical" certainly was and that is an understatement. It is a brilliant episode that is every bit as good as the episode it references where we start right at the beginning, and represents everything that is so great about 'Phineas and Ferb' at its best. One of my favourites of the show without a shadow of a doubt.

"Rollercoaster: The Musical" succeeds in every way. The animation is bright and colourful, with such vibrant colours that literally pop out at you and beautifully detailed backgrounds. The rollercoaster looks especially well done and literally is the coolest rollercoaster in the world. The music is in the style that is not usually my style of choice when listening to music, but it is very catchy and pleasant to listen to. The theme song is irresistible with a melody that sticks in the head for days without being an earworm and with very quotable lyrics. Some nice visuals accompanying it too.

It's not just the theme song or the background scoring, the songs are very catchy with clever lyrics, amazing at how such everyday exchanges and languages was set to such engaging music writing without being corny. "Rollercoaster" and the big finale "Carpe Diem" are particularly good.

Writing is extremely well done too. It has wit and avoids being juvenile or simplistic, while not being too complicated for younger audiences. The story is enormous fun and lively in pace and also charming and nostalgic. The main plot is a lot more memorable and cleverer than the Perry and Doofenschmirtz subplot, but that subplot is still incredibly enjoyable and has enough variety to avoid repetition. Doofenschmirtz's priceless lines and the wonderfully wild interaction between him and Perry elevate it to a greater level.

Characters are spot on and same with the interactions. The voice acting and singing are beautifully done.

Summing up, brilliant. 10/10.

Every song in this episode is fire

I feel like they made this episode to make up for the fact that the original episode didn't have any songs and they went all out because every song in this episode is a great song. Especially, "Mom look" and "Rollercoaster"

Rollercoaster! But this time it's a musical!

If I had a nickel every time Phineas and Ferb made a rollercoaster, I'd have 2 nickels (not considering the Quantum Boogaloo episode), which isn't much, but it's weird that it's happened twice.

Phineas and Ferb create a rollercoaster (again!) and (almost) everything happens as it did the first time, but this time it's a musical. So, it's bigger and better.

It's amazing how they repeat the same things and create such a great episode. The few little but notable changes successfully bring out laughs. The songs are great, especially the rollercoaster song. And Carpe Diem is an all-timer. One of my most favourite episodes, just because of how paradoxically innovative this is.

Is it just me or is it a serious deja vu moment?
