Gaspard , a 60 years old TV presenter begins to fail in his work and his career is in decline.His father Hubert is in the hospital because of a fall and is very bad tempered, fighting with all the world.Hubert needs help , some nurses and caretakers have comed, but nobody manages to remain in the house.But surprise Gaspard meets a Slovenian woman who was working as waitress and little by little the old Hubert and the woman will understand each other better and Hubert will enjoy again the life.Also his relationship with his son will be better.
The performances of Julie Ferrier, Pierre arditi and Jean-Pierre Marielle are very good.

Since the mid seventies when I first watched the films which he was played in, I have always liked him.
A tremendous actor and not like the others. Most of the characters he played could have never been by other actors. Here he is an old man, who is tired by life, and whose son - Pierre Arditi - is in charge of.
The face to face between the two of them is poignant, with many gripping dialogues. And the sequences with the house maids are very funny too. A bitter sweet comedy that leaves you a beautiful feeling all long this cute little feature.
We are Lucky that in France we usually make this kind of light movies, so close to real daily life.
