Bored, indulged teens devolve into sexual manipulation and beyond

Warning: Spoilers
Even the most hard core Indy horror freak will get their fill with this riveting all too realistic coming of age drama. "Thrill" will leave you satiated, yet somehow still hungry for more. The Director's rock video roots bleed through in the imagery of this stylized thriller that will take you to the edge, and over......

The narrative daringly shatters cultural taboos as we see a group of indulged, white, middle class youth devolve into an amoral pack of spoiled, manipulative criminals, devoid of empathy, respect, or any semblance of what we call a conscious. It is kind of ironic that the setting is the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles , where another coming of age classic was filmed a half century ago. In "Thrill" we witness not only the neighborhood but also the morals of our youth have deteriorated , and today's "rebels without a pause" definitely ARE the worse for wear....

Newcomer Adea Lennox cuts her acting chops as her doe eyed innocence belies the sociopathy of her character; leaving the viewers eyes glued to the screen. Her subtle performance adds to the film's allure, as The director brushes us up uncomfortably close to our fears about today's disaffected youth, and they're all to willing nature to resort to sexual manipulation, violence, even murder. "Thrill" takes us down a dark path usually only traveled only by the deranged-and it's dank, scary, and carries the foul stench of lunacy.

Bravo to filmmakers willing to show the fetid side of the millennials and their odoriferous social milieu, they are less "snowflake" and more "sewer-rat" when it comes to their selfish willingness to victimize adults. In this piece we get a rare glimpse into the skank, septic nature of their coddled, spoiled rotten souls, and CAVEAT: IT ISN'T VERY PRETTY.

Don't miss this instant contender for cult classic; parents of teens may be emotionally scared.
