What this episode proved...
Jaxonhall9 November 2012
Warning: Spoilers
1. These new kids have what it takes to keep the show going. I was as skeptic as anyone at the thought of the show continuing with new characters, but the cast that the writers are forming is slowly starting to work their magic. Too many critics keep on saying that these characters do not have well developed story lines...It's cause the core characters keep on getting the screen time.

2. The show does not need Rachel or Kurt to survive. This episode demonstrated beautifully that Rachel and Kurt are not the show. While the episode relied heavily on Finn, it still showed that Rachel and Kurt are not everything. While I still want them to have their screen time, I am glad to see the show will be able to progress when they leave. (If we hopefully get a fifth season)

3. Finn has been highly underestimated. Finn has always seemed to be very dependent upon Rachel, but this episode really defined Finn as a strong leader. I am excited to see him grow further.

4. The torch will be passed. The writers have certainly set Ryder up for success. He already has a vulnerable side to him that is key for any character on Glee. He also has high star potential, which is what is needed if we want to move away from the old core cast and start a new one.

This episode was really about transition. Not a full transition, but giving us a small glimpse of what the future of Glee holds, and I believe it is in some great hands.

A tad boring

Warning: Spoilers
I found this episode to be very basic. The musical numbers just don't have the energy they once had and the arrangements are dull.

I just have not found any of the new cast very engaging.

They seem to be putting these somewhat copies of characters into copies of old situations and it is like yeah we saw that before a fight over a role but Mercedes and Rachel were so much more interesting.

There is so much potential with the NYC side of the things but not if they stop the momentum. I personally want more NYC.

Give Rachel and Kurt some comedy, have some of the grads visit them instead of McKinley and cut back on the new kids for awhile they just aren't cutting it.

What's wrong with Sue!

Sue character is unreasonably swing. I even think that she's bipolar. After years, there were many moments that she should have learned things and got to know glee people. But she kept turning back on them and trying to sabotage them as if they had never shared great moments with her. I know that it's kinda sake of creating stories but when it kept recurring like this, I'd say that the producers and the writers were lack of creativity.
