Very good voyage across the Caribbeans

In the beginning there are shots of a desert beach with a willet, a seagull and an iguana that walk by. This probably doesn't mean nothing, but then we go underwater and we are introduced to the many amazing animals that we have to see in the documentary: a shark, a manta ray, dolphins, a manatee, sea turtles, jellyfish and so and so forth. During the course of the film those animals are examined one by one during their voyages around the sea and the narration by Keith David will tell us everything we have to know about those animals' lifestyles and also the dangers they have to face (especially manatees that are still on the brink of extinction or combers and needle fish that risk to be eaten by barracudas). In the end we see some of the damages men has done to the ocean floor but also some subs that are helpful towards animals and stay with them without hurting them at all.

Everything about this documentary is great: David's narration, the cinematography, the animals that are filmed and especially the soundtrack was spellbinding. Just like with many of their other documentaries, National Geographic tries to both entertain us and inform us about the problems that afflict our world. Not to be missed.
