Okay starter for ultimately blah series
Before the current vignette craze fueled by the popularity of internet streaming, Digital Playground placed high hopes on this copyrighted series, unfolding in full-length (100-minute-plus) segments. Episode 1 is tolerable in its introduction of the characters, after which the two follow-ups fizzle.
Marcus London and Toni Ribas are two social workers handling women who have screwed up somewhere along the line -playing their roles more like parole officers. The unspoken secret casting is that most of the women are beautiful Latina, not relevant to any storyline but merely an affirmative- action type of happenstance.
Label's contract star Selena Rose toplines this episode, cast in a crypto- incest relationship with London that the Kay Brandt script fails to present clearly. I gathered she is his step-daughter, making their sex scene not merely okay but virtually mandatory these days in porn.
Lexi Swallow is fine as London's long-suffering wife, while other clients are quite alluring: busty Haley Cummings, exotic Alexa Nicole and Daisy Cruz. Toni Ribas is the bad guy, using his girlfriend to get London in trouble.
As each scene rushed into the explicit sex portion, I got the impression that Brandt's script for these films was heavily edited to keep exposition and character set-up to a minimum. This is even more evident in the two sequels, and makes "Sex and Corruption" a non-starter rather than a candidate for binge viewing.
