A journey of obsession and metamorphosis. An artist searches for his own self-image through portrait. Conceived, shot and released within one month, Self is a film that sets out to tell the very personal story of one man and his struggle to recreate his own image. His efforts lead to a dark and ambiguous conclusion. Made for a budget of 100 British pounds, Self was self financed and shot using borrowed equipment, relying on the commitment of people working for free to complete in such a short time period.
