When left alone with the only digital copy of the original script the night before production was to begin, Sam Inabinet, the Assistant Director, took it upon himself to edit the story to his liking and deleted the only other copy of the script. Although Travis McHenry, the original screenwriter, was furious, rather than waste precious time re-writing the story, the producer made the decision to simply use the amended script and give Sam credit as a co-writer.
During filming at the senator's mansion in Norfolk, the police were called to the scene by a neighbor who saw a tall man in a suit walking down the driveway with a gun. Fortunately, the scene of Burke's arrival was shot in under an hour and filming wasn't interrupted by the actual police.
