Bandai Namco Nexus' life simulation video game The iDOLM@Ster Shiny Colors started its service for PC in Japan on April 24, 2018. To celebrate the sixth anniversary, The iDOLM@Ster franchise's official YouTube channel released a commemorative video to introduce its idols and to look back at their history. According to the announcement from Bandai Namco Entertainment on Dengeki Online in September 2023, the total number of playing users had exceeded six million. In addition to the first key visual posted (below), the second key visual for the sixth anniversary was released on the game's official Twitter account .
